  1.   Very good.  CZ generally uses "too heavy" a mainspring... probably because of the legacy of crazy-hard Eastern Bloc primers.
  2. If the production gun really can be had in (or switched to) the G model, and is Tennessee marked, I'll buy one. Hopefully with a threaded barrel.
  3.   Yes... I went and checked it out.   But I still haven't seen a peep about it anywhere else...
  4. With all of the crazy .22 prices... why has nobody offered to sell me one of these for a few hundred bucks?   I mean... you can't even find ammo for them!!!!
  5.   That'll get you every time.  Fortunately it's a cheap easy fix.
  6.   Yep.  I'm sure clogged gas tubes happen, but I've never seen one.   Continual shots of 50K+ PSI gas at very high temperature tends to keep plumbing pretty clean.   :pleased:
  7. Simple, free stuff first:   Try different magazine.   Try different ammo.   Is the ejector moving freely and under spring tension?   What sort of configuration gun are we talking here?  (barrel length, gas system length)
  8. Fair enough.   Has anything else ever come from the broken guns that were were supposed to be talking about in this thread?  I would think this story would be huge and all over the gun internet....
  9.   I bow to your rapier wit sir.
  10.   Smartest post you've made in the whole thread.....
  11.   Maybe you should try the knitting equipment business.
  12.   I wouldn't recognize Mr. Costa if he walked into my store right now.    I do recognize that you don't know nearly as much as you think you do about how to fight with a rifle, and your attitude isn't exactly conducive to retail sales.
  13.   Wow... you're really doing your company a lot of favors here by displaying not only ignorance, but whining and arrogance as well....   The Arizona Gun Owners Forum must be full or something.
  14. Nice.    That gun, the CZ97, and the SIG P227 would make up the short list if I was in the market for a new .45 right now.
  15. I think TICS exemption for HCP holders would be an excellent target for this legislative session.   And for the "NICS is free!!!" crowd... just stop. NICS also sucks.  It goes down all the time, delays and mistaken denials are quite common.   TICS is worth every penny... it's light-years ahead of the feds' pitiful system.
  16. The utter lack of mention of this on other (really huge) internet outlets has me quite suspicious as well....
  17. I really, really wish my Kadet kit worked with the P09... I'd buy one right now if it did.
  18. I understand that Mr. Costa has a great rep, and he's earned it. But why in the world would you post a warning about damaged guns and show pictures of targets, not damaged guns?
  19. Most definitely. The whole thing seems quite fishy with no pictures of the damaged guns.
  20. u Beretta got it right at first too... And then changed it. Frustrating.
  21. Tried one waaaaay back when they were still fairly new guns.  It was little too big in the grip for my taste.   I like the newer HK45 much better... going from 12 to 10 round mags made the gun a lot more easier for me to shoot well.
  22. Shoot at the middle of whatever part of the threat you can see.    Greater margin for error is far more important in a SD situation than physiological effect of where the bullet goes in the body.   To put it another way, you're much, much more likely to lose a fight because you missed the bad guy than because you hit him and didn't do incapacitating damage.   Now, in a happy coincidence, the middle of a threatening human target is usually the thoracic cavity, which is full of heart, lungs, liver, and other important stuff that people need to keep fighting.
  23.   This.  Something like a .243, or even a .223, would easily do what you're talking about.  And a bunch more stuff.   :2cents:
  24.   True... I don't care about either one of those, but some folks might.
  25. Pretty cool, but for another 30 bucks you can get a dedicated non-recip side charge upper from Gibbz or Tooth and nail.... At $150, this would be very tempting.
