  1. I want a .460 S&W / .454C / .45Colt lever gun.
  2. I can't think of a good reason to ever put a P938 (or any SAO gun for that matter) in "half-cock".  Ever.   If you're not comfortable carrying it in Condition 1, then it isn't the gun for you... no big deal, plenty of others to choose from.
  3.   Almost nine years for the Walther PPS.   For that matter... S&W's 39XX series guns have been out for a loooooong time.
  4. Don't feel bad... Glock is late on a single-stack 9mm by a decade or so.
  5. I'm just hoping maybe I can find one of the rabid Glock-o-philes that wants to sell one of his 37 Glock 19s at a decent price to buy one of the first of these on Gunbroker for over a grand.   I wouldn't mind having a G19 again.   :pleased:
  6. Doubletap... Terrible trigger control.
  7. They need to hurry up and make that 3" LCR in 22LR....
  8.   Pistol grips should always be made as narrow as physically possible.  Adding thickness/circumference is easy for the end user.  Taking it away is not.
  9.   The inherent "Glockness" is why it only holds 6.  Plastic is great for gun frames, but lousy for gun magazines.  Glock refuses to make metal magazines, so their guns are always going to be wider than they need to be (or hold fewer rounds).
  10.   Don't need one.  See all those flat spots?  You just tack-weld your accessories directly on to the gun.  :pleased:
  11. Well, I was really looking forward to making it out of winter hibernation for this match.... But 7 stitches in the trigger finger on Thursday kinda put a damper on my plans. Hopefully everything will be healed up enough to shoot for the opener of the TN 3-gun series next month.
  12. You probably wouldn't want to use this for all your projects (not super cheap), but for survival kits, etc, this is a brilliant idea... waterproof fire tinder inside the cord!    http://www.livefiregearllc.com/550firecord/
  13. Anyone? I have flare guns to feed and hazmat fees suck... does anyone around have smoke/flare rounds in stock?
  14.   Gas blowback, if different at all, would actually be a little less with a larger bore can.   As for dB reduction... expensive equipment might be able to tell the difference between 5.56 fired through .22 vs .30 cal cans, but I've never been able to.  And the versatility of the .30cal is awesome.... 5.56, .308, .300BLK... I love my AAC SDN-6.
  15. You need a double action revolver, a .22LR handgun of some sort, and a full-size 9mm.
  16. KNS makes all sorts of replacement posts...    http://www.knsprecisioninc.com/iron-gun-sights/ar15-m16-ar10-sr25.html
  17.   Suppressing the 9mm is easy, you just need subsonic ammo.  A good 9mm suppressor with subsonics is quieter than any .45 suppressor as well.
  18.   Yep.  AOWs are cheaper to transfer, but the same $200 stamp to make.  So really there's no sense in making an AOW for yourself.
  19. File your Form 1 (I recommend a trust and using ATF's E-file), pay your $200 bucks, wait for it to be approved, and build whatever you want.   Otherwise it's barrels 18" or longer, AND overall length of 26" or longer.  There is the "firearm" exception that Dolomite mentioned above as well.

It's a non-issue. I've been shooting CZ75s (or SP01s) in 3-gun for years now. An awful lot of 3-gun stages feature empty chamber starts. I've never had a problem racking the slide in a hurry.
  21. Basically outside of a few regs concerning schools, courtrooms, that kinda thing, there aren't any knife laws in Tennessee anymore.

Fantastic guns.  You aren't going to get a better service-sized pistol without spending twice as much money.
  23.   DO NOT practice live-fire rifle-to-handgun transitions while wearing shorts.   #lessonslearnedthehardway
  24. I'm a big fan of A1 uppers on "irons only" guns.
