  1. Awesome, look forward to seeing yall Saturday.
  2. Gun shop today and see Hickock45? I had ever intention to, but today is the mother in laws bday and I got stuck manning the grill.
  3. I like the Ruger. I had a SR9 and wife carries a SR9c. Both have been great pistols. I had a 40ve, functioned perfect but had a horrible trigger.
  4. Another vote for TFO's. I also like the factory Glock night sights.
  5. Don't ever say "your sister is better". Even if joking.
  6. Never created an account and never will.
  7. I picked up a couple from the Wal-Mart in Newport about 2 weeks ago. Also picked up a few for some guys at work from the Gatlinburg welcome center. So they are out there.
  8. I like them, that's what mine needs. I don't like the Pachmeirs thats on mine.
  9. I think I'll stick with my Savage smokeless. If Remington wanted to make the latest and greatest ultimate muzzleloader, why is it not smokeless?
  10. You got it, hope all goes well.
  11. Stopped in today to check out the new store. I was impressed with the selection and the the sales staff . I think very employee in the store asked us how we were doing and if they could help us. I ended up buying a couple boxes of 22lr and 22mag just because I hadn't seen any in the wild in a couple years. I was looking for a ruger American compact 7mm-08 for my son but they only had 308 and 243 in stock. I can see this place causing trouble for my marriage and Sons college fund.
  12. Bass Pro in Kodak had some a couple weeks back. I recently sold my old Marlin 35 so I left it on the shelf.
  13. Savage 10 ML II smokeless muzzloader. It's great to be able to shoot all day without cleaning.

  15. Wow, I bet that was a fun hunt!
  16. Wow I grew up watching that show, it(channel 2) was about the only channel we could pick up.
  17. I recently picked up two lowers from them. One for my 6.8 deer rig and one for my wife's first AR. They seem like good people, the guy behind the counter talked to me like I had been coming there for years.
  18. Oh joy joy, I get to fight the mess almost everyday. Atleast I'm off weekends when it is the worst.
  19. Thanks guys, lots of good info. I couldn't wait any longer, I ordered the Lee kit along with some extra bushings, Hornady digital calipers, and a Lyman #49 manual. All for about $180, so if I decide reloading ain't for me I'm not out a lot of money. I'm mainly plan on loading 6.8spcII, 44mag,and 308win. May in the future load for my 30-06, 9mm's,223's,and 45acp.
  20. I think I'm going to finally take the plunge into reloading. I've been looking at two starter kits. The Hornady L-N-L and Lee kit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/360910571916?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/171288242391?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649. Any reason why one is better than the other? And what other must haves do I need? I know I'll want a good manual or 3, dial calipers, and tumbler. I've been reading all I can the last couple of days online. I've got a lot to learn so I'll take any advice and info you wanna pass along.
  21. Absolutely beautiful rifle. Just finished my first 6.8 build as well.
  22. Looks good. QUE does good work. Had him do the works to my bolt. How do you like the Fedderson barrel?
  23. Never seen one of tbe RIs before, pretty cool. I love my SR22. Only failures have been with standard velocity ammo. May need a litle polishing.
