  1. Best wishes and prayers for you D.
  2. How about a .17 HMR? Ammo cost is about the same as 22 mag and easy to find. Very accurate and fun little guns.
  3. Interesting. Ive been waiting on GM's 16" fluted to be available again. I may hafta look at one of these.
  4. Very nice
  5. I met John Schneider from the Dukes if Hazzard and Bob Eubancks from the Newlywed Game show when I was a teenager. Both seemed really nice. Before I got on with the city I worked maintnance for a resort in Gatlinburg. So one night a toy hauler with Yamaha wrote all over it pulls in. Turns out to be Vannila Ice, cant remember his real name and dont care. What an @sshole. Not going into details but I have no respect for him.
  6. Green Mountain is great value. I will be putting one on my next 10/22 build as soon as the one I want is back in stock. If you want the best then you want a KIDD barrel.
  7. Very cool, congrats
  8. I really like my Stag model 2. Ive only had it a couple of months but its seems to be a well built rifle. Ive got 500 rounds thru it so far and its been 100% reliable.
  9. Decided it would be a good day to lay outta work, and boy was I right. Snuck to about 100 yards of some roosted birds this morning. They were gobbling hard off the roost at anything. As soo. As they flew down I give em a few yelps and shut up. Come to me like they were on a string.
  10. Most of the time its a Glock 19 in a Galco King Tuk with 124 +p Gold Dots and a Lcp in pocket with fmj's.
  11. Definatly check out RFC before starting a 10/22 build. Everything there is to know can be found there. For that kinda money it will be hard to beat using all KIDD parts. They are considered by most to make the best 10/22 parts. Im doing a 10/22 build currently but more of a budget/superstock build. Brimstone trigger job, Que bolt job, GM barrell, KIDD charging handle spring and guide rod. http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php
  12. Congrats to the winners, and a big +1 for Dolomite for the chance!
  13. I was ready to say Glock 19. But if its no concealed carry and only 10 rounds, G 20 or 21.
  14. Beatiful collection! Im fond of Rugers and Glocks myself.
  15. I just bought my first AR a couple of weeks ago. Almost bought a M&P sport. Ive heard nothing but good about them. I ended up buying a Stag model 2. Very happy with it so far. I would definatly recomend it. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/36_800/products_id/411545226
  16. Just got my first AR, a Stag model 2. Added a cheap AIM quad rail and G.P.S. vertical grip today. Trying to decide on optics now. Here is a before and after pic along with some evil black pistols. Glock 20sf,19,21sf
  17. I will never part with my G19 for the reasons others have stated. Plus I just love it, fits me like a glove. My second choice would be my G20sf. Awesome gun, goes with me anytime Im hunting or 4wheeling.
  18. I tried to register on my phone also, had the exact same problem. My tax return is burning a hole in my pocket. I will have AR soon! Mostly because of this thread. My wife hates you all!!
  19. Ive got one of those that my grandfather bought at an auction. I had been meaning to get it out and research it.
  20. While I was at the gun show in White Pine a couple of months back I saw some TWRA officers writing citations to a couple of vendors that didnt have tax stamps on there ammo.
  21. I used my Glock 21sf. I had just put a set of XS Big Dots on it and wanted to try them out.
  22. Im in the exact same situation as you, but with a new(9/2011) 3rd gen 19 . I need the new style ejector(30274) that glock is now using in the new gen 3's, Glock also told me to send it in or they would ship to an armorer. Karnage if it isnt to much trouble could you help me out as well?
  23. Thancks guys, according to the serial # it was born in 1921. Im a hi cap auto fan but these old revolvers are just cool. May hafta clear a place in the safe for it to live next to the autos.
  24. Just picked up a new toy. Colt police positive special 32-20. Serial # 2339xx. Any of you guys know any history on these guns? Thought it was a interesting piece and the the price was cheap enough. Figured it would make good trade fodder or a Christmas gift for ol dad.
