I finally got to see what a $469 stripped lower looks like. Was on the hunt for a Shield9 but no such luck. Did pick up a used SR22 and a Glock girl t-shirt for the wife.

Im planning on heading up Sunday morning. Cant make it Saturday. Ive not been to any shows recently due to the crowds and panic buyers. Hopefully it wont be to crazy.

I dont have much in the way of advice, but being from Newport I would definatly be interested. Or helping out in anyway if possible.

I got lucky and got 2k CCI mini mags. Just a few minutes after I ordered the CCIs were sold out and the site was bogged down.

My "early model" mkII didnt have the accu-trigger. Not sure what year they started using them.

X2 I got one for Glocks. Only used it a couple of times so far but it worked well.

I took the wife shooting the last two weekends in preperation for her upcoming HCP class. Mainly shooting .22 ,9mm, and 5.56 since I have a good stockpile of it. Gonna have to slow down a bit tho before I get to low. My cousin and her husband are getting into shooting so I took them along Sunday. Doesnt take long for 4 people to go thru some ammo, especially when Im supplying it.

Depends on what you will do with the rifle. If your a hunter, its hard to beat the 30-30 or 35 Remington. Ive had several 30-30s in the past but but sold them after picking up a nice 1972 336 in .35 Rem. I have plenty to pick from but I always seem to grab the .35 before I head to the woods. If I were you I would hold out for an older JM stamped rifle in whatever caliber/model you choose.

Just looked in the hunting guide. Monroe is in Unit B and is not listed in the Antlerless Non Quota hunts so it appears to be buck only for the rest of the season.

I mailed in my renewal on Oct 27th and recieved my new permit in the mail today. I was gonna call this week to check on the status. Now I need to order a duplicate.
