  1. New gun take off. I am converting a Palmetto State Armory 11.5 inch pistol to a rifle. I bought the gun new and have never fired it. Selling the 11.5 inch upper without bolt carrier group or charging handle. Also selling the Magpul BTR stabilizing brace. No buffer tube. $225 for both. Located in Lenoir City.

Barrel: Chrome Moly steel phosphate coated barrel. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a carbine-length gas system.  Barrel is finished off with a classic handguard,  F-Marked gas sight base, and A2 flash hider.

Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is machined to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized.   Uppers include forward assist and dust cover.  These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer

How do you like it?  Is it roomy inside?

It doesn't really feel like a small truck while driving it. I went from an F-150 that I bought new in 2009 to the Maverick. The hood is squared up and the truck feels much wider than it looks. I have owned two new Ford Rangers in years past and the Maverick feels like it has much more room than a Ranger. The only complaint that I have so far is engine noise. It just seems to me that the turbocharged 4 cylinder engine has more whine to it than 4 cylinders that I have owned it the past. That being said it is a powerhouse. If I accidentally step on it too hard it will definitely spin the tires. I am 5' 11" and have plenty of headroom with my hat on. The backseat clears my knees with about 4 inches to spare. It is plenty comfortable for 4 people. I have hauled two new boxed up recliners in the back. Also an oak desk and a 10" step ladder. If you don't really need a truck but then again sometimes you do, this might be the answer.

  3. I just broke down and bought a new small economy truck. New Ford Maverick. 250HP EcoBoost, Automatic, Air, Electric Windows and Locks, Remote Start. 1,500 LB Payload. Less than $25,000 out the door with all taxes and fees included. I never buy used vehicles because I got a few with problems when I was younger. So, with me retired now I could not afford a new $50,000 truck. I've had this one 10 months now and so far am happy with it.

Ok, I’ve always wanted one and found a new one today I can get for $450 OTD.Thought I better grab it.

I would grab it. Heck at that price for a new one, I would buy a second one. I just bought mine because I had a lot of 7.62 x 39 ammo and Mini 30 mags. I also bought one of the new Ruger American Predator rifles with the 18 inch barrel in .308. I just like bolt guns with short barrels.

So, today I took delivery on a PSAK GF3 AK47 MOEKOV in flat dark earth furniture and a Dagger compact (Gen 3 Glock 19 Clone) with Doctor cut slide, threaded barrel, carry cut slide, suppressor height sites, (which co-witness with the Vortex Venom 6moa on the work bench waiting to be installed). I bought this as a two weapon bundle which also had the PSA pistol/magazine soft case for $799 plus tax and free shipping.  Note, this was ERAY's fault because he closed the ad on his PSA AK before I spoke for it which caused me to actually open the PSA emails again after I tried so desperately to quit doing so, which resulted in my finger dancing on the buy button.

I have not fired either as yet but will very soon.  I have read the above and take no issue with anyone's opinion, and will gladly share my own 😄 about the Dagger since I am posting in the handgun string.  I will say that I do own a Glock 17 because if you wish to bash anything about a Glock you have to own one for bashing rights 😉 (insert emoji so as to not light any fuses).  I have always acknowledged the reliability of Glocks, I just hated the feel of them in my hand.  I have tried to convince myself multiple times to buy a Glock 19 but could not get past the feel test, pick it up, nope same as last time I tried. Enough about Glock, I bought the Dagger based solely on reviews, price point and I wanted to try to cross the threshold into optic adorned handguns.  Right out of the box my first thought was, this ain't a Glock 19 clone. Yea, yea I got it, interchangeable parts and all that, but I couldn't get myself to buy a 19 the first time and depending on how this Dagger shoots I will probably be buying more of them.  The grip reminded me of my P229 and P226s only a touch thinner over all, as opposed to the 1x3 board feel of the 19. (Opinion only) I thought the suppressor height sights looked funky in the profile pic on PSA but I actually like them when sighting through them, even my old man eyes could pick up a sight picture with and without glasses.  I will mount the venom to the slide (Doctor cut, no plates required) and have co-witness, so as the sights go, I give it a win. The magazine protruding as it does also looked awkward to me in the pics yet it actually gave my pinky a place to be rather than swimming around below the grip looking for a home as was the case on the G19.  The vertical slide cuts fore and aft of ejection port are suitably deep to provide a sure grip for weapon charging as well as chamber checks. Did I mention the Dagger has a steel guide rod, yep. As for the "Extreme Carry Cuts" as advertised.  I don't really know how much is gained regarding carry comfort or holstering etc. But I have to say that to me the weapon appearance is far more appealing with the faceted design.  For now I consider the Dagger a win, yet final decision depends on range (backyard) performance.  I will share that assessment in a much shorter post, I promise.

I'm the same way about AK's that you are about Glocks. I've bought a half dozen of them over the years and they are as reliable as a Glock but I just can not force myself to like them. The PSA is as well finished and fitted as any I have owned. I think I will never shoot it and should sell it then I think if I sell it one day I will turn around and buy another so I decide to keep it. Life is tough. I have 2 Ruger Mini 30 tacticals and a Ruger American Ranch rifle in 7.62 x 39 so I don't really need an AK but it is like a Glock, everyone thinks they should have one.

  6. I sold my Glock 23 and my Glock 32 so I have a few spare new factory replacement parts for a Glock Model 23 in 40 S&W or a Glock Model 32 in 357 sig. For some reason Glock parts seem to be hard to find in stock right now so it might be a good time to put back a few spares. These are for Gen 3. May fit other generations as well.

    1. Two Trigger Housings with ejectors.

    2. Trigger with trigger bar.

    3. Recoil Spring Assembly

    4. Extractor

I bought all of these directly from Glock when I was a Glock Armorer. Must Pick Up in Lenoir City. $35

As long as the value of my guns is going up and the value of the dollar is going down, I can’t see a good reason to trade them for dollars.

My thoughts exactly. I had a PSA AR-15 and a PSA AK-47 listed on the forum here. Then I checked and the bank is paying me a whole .51 percent interest on my savings. I can not help but believe with inflation the guns will go up much more than .51 percent. So I closed the ads and am going to buy another safe rather than sell my extra guns.

  8. I have two Satin Nickel S&W Model 38 Airweight Bodyguard revolvers that I bought new about 30 years ago. I don't carry either one and they just sit in the safe. Probably will never use either one and could have gotten $750 for one of them last year and did not sell. I will probably have them until I die.

In 2012 I decided that I wanted a fixed stock AR-15 with an A-2 fixed carry handle. I wanted a short barrel like the carbine but do not like the short hand guards on the carbine. I called Rock River Arms and they said they could fix me an A-2  Fixed stock with a 16 bbl and mid length gas system so it would have the longer handguards with the 16 inch barrel and look more like a rifle than a carbine. I had them build me two. They are both still unfired.

  9. OK. Having an online yard sale here. First up is a set of Altamont Super Walnut Checkered Grips. These were on a Ruger Wrangler but the Altamont website says they also fit a Blackhawk, Vaquero ( Not New Vaquero), Single Six, Super Single Six, 4 5/8 inch Super Blackhawk and 5 1/2 inch Super Blackhawk. Like new condition. $25

Next we have two Five Star Aluminum Speed Loaders and 10 rounds of A-Zoom .357 Magnum Snap Caps. Speedloader size is J2. Website says they fit a Ruger LCR and S&W 5 shot J Frames 38 spl or 357 mag. The speedloaders are $22 each on Amazon and the snap caps are $1 each. $20 for the speedloaders and snap caps.

Last is a new EGW Arched Serrated Mainspring Housing with all new Brownells Mainspring, Mainspring Plunger and Mainspring Plunger pin installed. Also included is a Brownells recoil spring plug and recoil spring plunger and 8 new Les Baer hex head grip screws. I was collecting Springfield Armory Loaded 1911's for a while and always swapped the flat mainspring housing out for an arched one and changed out the full length guide rod, so I kept a set of the parts around at all times. $35

    Located in Lenoir City.

  10. Roxant Blackbird Spotting Scope. I bought two of these last year from Amazon. I put one on a good camera tripod and am still using it. I have decided to sell the extra one. These are made in the USA and are very good quality for a lower priced scope. I just don't really need two. It is a 12 X 36 x 50. This one was only removed from the box for the photo. They are now $75.99 on Amazon. I paid $79.85 plus 7.20 tax for a total of 87.15 for this one. Local pick up for $50. Located in Lenoir City just South of Knoxville.
