Nice find. MY main recommendation is to clean as manual states. Many folks booger up the crown. Also, I would avoid russian ammo.

So, anyone else want to do this class? It's going to be a great opportunity to meet other forum members and get in some good training.

I've never read the 1994 ban, but this one appears to be strengthened. I noticed that FFL transfer is required on all assault rifles.

What range do you frequent?

MY favorite "pretty gun" is a SS Ruger Vaquero .44mag. Its the basic with rosewood handle. I love the feel of it. I guess my second favorite is a Beretta 686 O/U.

Not sure if this is a new product or not, but I've never seen it before. I just picked up a couple of boxes of CCI Blazer "Brass" .45ACP for $9.50 at Wal-Mart. Its reloadable and non-corrosive target grade ammo. Looks like good range ammo at a decent price.
Jsut thought I'd share.

Thats kind of what I figured. If you read too much on the internet, you start finding a lot of issues with FTEs withe the 36.
I really like the slim profile and the .45 caliber.

Also, you might consider a heavy duty safe that is not fire resistant My wife bought me one similar to this a few years ago. It weighs about 200lbs les3 than a fire resistant.

At the Gun show all guns have to unloaded and they do check at the door for loaded guns and loaded mags. Bob Pope gun show will put a tie strap in your gun to show it has been checked but the Bill Goodman does not. About 3 or 4 years ago at the Bob Pope gun show someone had a AD, somebody was selling a glock and handed to the prospective buyer and told him it was unloaded and he pulled the trigger and BOOM, luckily nobody got hurt.
I remember that AD. I was about 20 feet from the door when it happened.

Guys: I've been trying to locate a used G 26, but keep finding nice G 36s. I really like the size and caliber., but the recent discussions on glocktalk about g36 relaibility make me a bit nervous about picking one up.
ANyone have any experience w/ the 36? If so, what's your take on realiablitly and CCW viability?
