Got any speedos? Its summertime and speedos seems to draw attention. On a more serious note, I'd be up for a cap and polo.

TGO only Fighting Pistol course in Camden TN (May 26-27)
wareagle replied to James Yeager's topic in Training Discussions
I hope family situation improves. BTW, let me know if you reschedule. I had to back out, so my brother in law are hoping to attend a future course. -
I picked up a stainless m77/50 from CDNN for $249. I was wondering if anyone had a recommended load to start with. I am looking for a load that will push 240gr .44cal sabot bullets for use on deer sized critters.

Guys: My source for $.10/rnd silver bear dried up. Anyone have a source on cheap 7.62x39?

I will try to make it. -
That's not too shabby. My 95 trooper (lifted, locked, teralow'd) only gets 13-15 mpg w/ 33 and 34s.

I've been paying $425-450 for 3rd Gens.

I carry a taurus 605 snub w/ 125gr hollow points. It gets almost as much carry time as my glock 36. I don't usually carry extra ammo with either setup. If I think I need more than five shots, I would carry my XD9 subcompact.
-
I just picked up an XD subcompact 9mm. Any holster recommendations?
-
FYI. I have a pager pal that I'm willing to sell. I guess I'm not an IWB guy.
-
FYI, I just picked up a XD compact. I've noticed that many of the holsters list that the Millenium Pro and XD compact have the same fitments.
-
Definitely avoid the ATI. Its made from "the bad" plastic. I picked one up online and quickly returned it. I may be wrong, But I think the stock was a universal fiit and they provided spacers to make it fit. Looke dlikie areally weak setup. I cannot say enough positive things about the Speed Feed pistol grip that I put on the 870.
-
On the one I had, I had failure to extract / eject. Also, I'm pretty sure they had external ejectors. Didn't think the colt had those.

TGO only Fighting Pistol course in Camden TN (May 26-27)

sounds like a car wreck to me. Glad I missed! -
i had llama and its .45acp firestorm equivalent. Quality was not so hot and the jammed more than expected/
-
I think harbor freight sells brass punch sets.
-
I was ok withe the one I picked up from you. Its another one that gave me a surprise. I thought that the "carbine" buffer and spring set was used for all of the barrels that had the shorter gas tubes (about every 16" and under upper excpet the BM "dissipater"). I guess you learn something new everyday.
-
check the classifieds. I bet you can build your own for cheap. I think I have $250 in mine. It was a wingmaster that has been chopped to have a 18.5" barrel, parkerized, and fit with a speedfeed pistol grip stock.
-
I did some parts swapping on an AR and was confused which spring and buffer is needed. Basically, I have a DPMS lower with a standard A2 stock. It is attached to a bushmaster 16" upper. Shouls I use the short spring and buffer or the longer versions? I thought I should be using the short versions, but I think it had long ones in it. I may be mistaken since I had a bunch of extra parts on the work table. any help is appreciated.

Good point. Let me re-word. How many guns would still be considered small? I'm thinking a small collection is in the less than 30 range. Medium is in the 30 to 50 range. 50+ is pretty large. Anyone think this is extreme??
