  1. Bump for temporary final price drop!
  2. Bump for Price drop!!!! Let’s have some fun!
  3. Okay so all of my automatic knives will now be carried in a belt worn knife pouch & I will no longer even look under my mower decks without heavy leather gloves. Thanks for the nightmares guys! -And I’m a retired ER nurse! So disturbing…
  4. Bump! For lowered price!
  5. The state of things just really breaks my heart. These were my favorite kinds of stores since I was a young child in the seventies. To this day, cosmoline is still an aphrodisiac to me. I own hundreds of modern tacticals but most of the best actions (the real heart of any firearm) were developed 70-130 years ago. Sure, we’ve got lighter materials and accessory mounts but nothing really compares to milsurp for the sheer ruggedness and brilliant simplicity of design. Look at FN: we’ve gone from FAL- one of the greatest ‘tank-like’ heavy long range hitters to modern FN: the ps90 has 3 different sears-all made of plastic & FN by design expects you to replace them regularly. Yay space age materials…. Not. Rant over- passing the soap box….
  6. I have an unfired flawless one of these guys in my safe that I’m about to release into the wild. They are unobtainium and crazy sought after. I would trade even just to complete my Israeli collection if you are interested. I have other new unfired treasures as well but considering this jewel is going to hit the market for around $2600, I thought that I might mention it.
  7. Hey, I totally understand and really just appreciate your consideration. Bump!
  8. JustReality listed: 6. Not a feature but still important, know your firearm, shooting it needs to be second nature. Bad things happen fast and you won’t have a lot of time to think about what you are doing. let’s just bump that up to number 1. If for number 2, you are wise enough to lather, rinse, and repeat- then your carry options expand exponentially.
  9. Doug, I’m so glad that you listened to the excellent advice on the 43x. I had the opportunity to meet and spend a little time getting to know Gaston shortly after he released the 19 as a “compact” carry class down from the 17. I remember marveling at that 15 round wonder gun from day one and like so many others was fascinated by how a polymer engineer could completely reimagine a semiautomatic handgun with so many fewer parts. I relayed this story to my wife when shield came out with their 15 round mags for the 43x and in that same 24 hours- gifted my mother with my 43 not looking back. I have the shield mag release of course, along with tritium sights and a flush fit underbarrel laser. I sometimes sit my old glock 19 next to the modded 43x and just marvel at how something perfect can always still be improved upon. All of that power now fits in my cargo pants pocket-without issue.
  10. Pardon me, but is this what you’re referring too? They’ve never been used, just lived in one of my safes like so many other things. I understand they were designed for Hind Pilots on night missions. $600 if ya want to give them a new home. Apologies if this isn’t what you’re referring too, just trying to help.
  11. In the Kingdom here, I have many, many things with which to trade for such a treasure including a new & unfired one of these- but alas no Benjamins at the moment.
  12. I love and enjoy all things “Tactical” in my edged weapon and firearms collections. Having done this for over half a century, I realize that word is as highly personal to one’s specific tastes & preferences as many of life’s other complex choices. For instance I prefer redheads and blondes but that is another discussion. I think that a seriously important and all too often overlooked detail is the assumption that anything is made of good steel. You can’t go wrong really getting to know steel. I’ve collected, used, forged, misused, and abused most every kind of steel. Today, I do not purchase an edged weapon that isn’t at least a D2 tool steel (CRKT Provoke is a really interesting take on tactical). In the last year through this very week I am buying up everything that is made from cpm 3V. If there is a steel that could take on ANYTHING- that would be it.
  13. Favorite caliber for distances of 150+ yards? non-target specific takes me to the most consistently steerable projectiles from 150-2000 yards: 50BMG. I can keep all 10 rounds in the mag on target with my long barrel M-82 and flight paths are so consistent with ANY ammo it’s almost boring if I weren’t giggling. Wait, was that me laughing? I can’t hear anything… Okay, there MAY be a possible downside. Oh & keep your spotter out of the muzzle-brake angle to avoid ragdolling them- this can be frowned upon.
  14. Just to prove there is always that weirdo in the room, I’ll chime in here. I’ve always enjoyed the 692 Tracker for it’s 7 round capacity & 9mm(yup)/.38/.357mag flexibility. However, when I acquired my desert eagle in .357mag, it became my goto for not just a 10 round capacity, but the fact that those 10 rounds have far less recoil or barrel lift than even a glock 19. Hey the bolt inside the action “revolves” right?
  15. Oooh to see the NFA finally sunset would feel like America found it’s original roots again. Of course liberals of Boston would be having “hat attacks” left & right.
