    Did see a lot of larger caliber guns that he had built, and his name pops up on several other forms.

    Well I tried but the dang thing keeps telling me the file size is too big. Don't know what is going on. I have googled Mr. Creighton and found a lot of guns he has made with pictures, and they were all nice but didn't find much on the man. My gun is extremely plain with no noticeable markings. His name on the barrel is tiny and if you didn't know you would think nothing of it as I have another S&L benchrest in 308 win and the barrels look the same. I will try again to get a picture

    well, I can but it's just a name stamped in a barrel. There's no engraving or anything like that

    Picked up a gun the other day and had H.W. CREIGHTON stamped in the barrel. All I could find out is he was a popular gunsmith in the 60's and 70's out of the Nashville TN aria. Dose anyone else on here know any more??
