Well, I finally bought my dream truck and as luck would have it, I’m changing jobs which will require me to drive downtown 4 days a week. I’ll be trying to find something a little more efficient unfortunately. I spent a ton of time looking for a great low mileage version of the last great Tundra - the Gen 2.5 V8. As it stands today, there’s only 2 or 3 in our area that fall into that category. This one only has 43k miles, 4WD, TRD Off Road package. It’s in amazing shape. Runs like a top. Bought it as a one owner and always owned in TN. No rust at all. The interior looks almost showroom new. I’m asking $42,500 which is in line with KBB and other sources. I have strong offers from Carmax and Carvana, but would prefer to sell rather than trade. It is financed at Cornerstone FCU so we can meet there and do the paperwork. Clean title.

I feel like I was leaning towards a smooth barrel with rifled slugs as a low maintenance option.

I’ve got a plain jane Mossberg 500 with the tiny bead sights. 28” barrel. I was thinking about upgrading, I’m wondering if maybe I could modify my Mossberg instead. New sights? New slug barrel? Thoughts?
