Light for Pump shotgun that won’t break the bank.
Scotty replied to jeff43's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
I’ve got a couple inforce WML on my HD 12 gauges. Picked them up second hand. I think I have the newer WMLx and the older version, ones definitely 400 lumens. With recoil they won’t hold up on pic rail alone but there’s a few different adapters with QD sling attachments that hold it with a pic mount. They’re not pretty, rugged enough so far, battery is a cr123a and want to say it’s a two hour run time. Momentary, strobe, constant. Convenient for me to hit the button with my thumb as I’m cruiser ready for shotgun HD just in case with the dog. Couldn’t justify dropping practically the costs of the mav88s on a “proper” light. I’ve got a tight house and didn’t need more lumens or throw. I’ve been happy with how they’ve held up for me. If you could find a deal on a used one for a knock around shotgun may be worth a shot. -
This is a good offer. I looked high and low for a few months to find a 28” OEM. I think I settled on $120 shipped private sale.

“No matter how little money and how few possessions you own, having a dog will make you rich.” Good on you. I say that to myself every time I swipe monthly at the vet. Worth every penny and then some.

There’s an internet rumor that CZ’s new line will be only optic ready. I read that as they actually had very good production during Covid, read the market and ramped up production. They missed, first time gun buyers during Covid panic bought a firearm and aren’t true firearm enthusiasts who own multiple guns. My read is that they have inventory and are trying to unload. There’s unreal deals on CZ right now. Every “guntuber” keeps hinting that they’re dropping a new line. I have no opinion either way but this is what the internet is saying while I listen in the background

Good deal. Have used before because I recognize the unique name. Good to go, they used to have a clunky older website looks like they updated.

Im not at home. I don’t know with 100% certainty. I thought it was citadel. If you can let me know how to properly identify I will verify later. Apologies. -
Was away from the phone for a bit. I’ll reach out individually. Had another member hit me up privately for a trade. SPM. Thanks.

The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Thought I’d buy this and throw a law folder tactical on it and have a bag setup. Should have stuck with my gut and just bought a keltec sub2k. Edit: does have BCG and CH. Decided I respect my neighbors rights to quiet enjoyment more than plinking with a loud guy as they tolerate me shooting every so often. I’ll take a loss on this and post for $200. Aero didn’t have them in stock or priced so I went with the next googling link. https://www.wingtactical.com/firearm-parts/ar-15-parts/complete-upper-receiver-assemblies/5-56-223-complete-uppers/aero-precision-7-5-m4e1-5-56-complete-upper-assembly/ Will trade up or down, ammo, mags, firearms. Thanks.

Picked up in a trade. Had fever dreams of making a super tacti-cool critter getter lever action .22. Sold the .22 to another member. $100. Open to trades on any double stack 9mm glock mags, TX22 mags, mkiv mags, or .243/.556 ammo. Let me know if my pricing is off. The only link I could find was from midway showing $270. It’s a decent budget optic, I know sightmark dots are trash but it’s a decent scope with good clarity and w/ the rings and covers feel like this is a deal. -
For sale or trade. Henry youth .22 model h001y. Picked it up off of an established member and was unfired. Wanted something other than a bolt action to shoot .22 short through. My nephew wants a baseball bat for Christmas and I don’t see him enough so want to get him something decent he can toss around with the boys. I fired maybe 2 tubes off .22S and 2 or 3 .22LR. Round count under 80. No hiccups, shot great, as per a previous post just want to make some room in the safe. I bought it for $300. Ill part with it for $290 firm. Seems fair as this would be close to $380 w/ tax transfer b/c and shipping via online pricing. https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/h001y Feel free to shoot a trade offer, will be able to meet up some time tomorrow and imagine this will move based off interests on the last post.

Hearing the ping off of steel is satisfying but I’d argue it’s more fun plinking cans and watching them wobble. -
Just want to give a shout-out for those that may not have family around. First few holidays were rough for me, only time I experienced homesickness. Usually spend the holidays with my old timer neighbor shooting and eating, gave him a heads up that this year would be different for us. I felt bad driving home and saw his car in the drive. Called and let him know I’ll bring him home a plate and happy to hear he has plans of his own! Very grateful that a few years ago my buddy reached out to me and had myself and a few other of us over that didn’t have family around because being ex-military he got the whole “holidays are tough thing”. Made my first pie today (she did all the measuring and hard work I just sliced and peeled the apples and did the dishes), looking forward to and grateful for being able to spend the day in a family environment. Happy tday all.

Agreed. Thanks for posting this. Also an update on my 380 ACP order from “Beebee” shopbfamily.com… ordered November 6th and arrived yesterday. Two week turn around but won’t complain because for 23.5 cpr for .380 shipped it was by far the cheapest. Will have to take a drive out of the way and stop home to grab it because I went halves with my buddy I’m spending thanksgiving with. His wife got a 380 EZ and needed training ammo. I appreciate all the posts that show time and turn around and quality of service. Would order from both posted again. Edit: added picture. I will say was worried with the rain and this sitting on the porch. Phenomenal packaging job individually Saran wrapped and adding packing paper. I’ll support this small family business again.
