If above falls through I’ll take it. May have a bushnell (25-tc?…) $125 optic to trade apples to apples. Will need to get home and see what the model is.

I’ve got a remmington 887 I could part with. Just taking up space in the safe, don’t think I’ve patterned it in a couple of years. I think it may be an apples to apples trade. Let me know, no pressure. https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/047700810744

This! I would shoot twice as much if I wasn’t worried about a particular couple neighbors right to quiet enjoyment.

Thanks. This forum has been good to me. I try to pay it forward. My thought is if anything is used it should sell for 30% off the cheapest new price found online including transfer. Kinda like cars. If things are new it’s a different story but I don’t ever make any money on stuff, rather price to move and give back a bit. -

Doc thanks for the insight. It’s always hard to navigate internet commenters who go “turk####, buy an 88” ad naseum. nice to hear from an actual smith. @new guy, if you’re ever bored you can YouTube Turkish shotgun burn down. James Reeves I find entertaining. I think only one of the Turkish shotguns has made it through his 500 round rapid fire burn down test, and even then there were concessions made. I picked up a cheap Gforce arms as a back door 12ga for critters as that’s where my compost is and it maybe made it through 300 rounds before it stopped ejecting spent shells. I didn’t bother messing with it yet and swapped it with an 88. Could be an easy fix but for the price it served it’s purpose.

I’ll take it. Pm sent.

“It's sad that we live in a nation where special interest money can destroy a legitimate company, supposedly protected by the Bill of Rights, simply by drowning it in litigation. Without recourse, without hope.“ Unfortunately, this is a tale as old as time. Not firearm specific. Pretty much any startup can be sued out of business, especially by tech or gov. This isn’t the best link but the story about Nikola Tesla the first to come to mind. https://www.legallanguage.com/legal-articles/patent-law-radio/

I did the cruise plus a few extended days last May on a Holland America cruise ship. It was gorgeous, lots of wildlife, tons of activities with a broad range, shows and entertainment, we hiked glacier park. I would try to save your energy and plan for your most active days to be Juno and Ketchikan, the boat usually allots more time there. Not throwing shade on the smaller islands but they’re touristy and trinket and shopping hubs. We rented e-bikes and although they weren’t cheap it was a fun way to see most of Ketchikan without breaking a sweat. Get reindeer everything, reindeer dogs, reindeer raviolis, reindeer patties. It just makes for a fun experience and memory. Dogs and raviolis were quite tasty even if they were pricey. It’ll be a memory for sure. Might want to consider having anyone who hasn’t been on a boat before to prep with some anti-naseau. I’m prone to “land sickness”, once I’m on land I feel the waves through the gravel it seems. Been that way all my life, I typically take a few days off post vacation to deal with it. But if no one has been on a charter fishing trip or a cruise have them prep with some of the pills or bracelets the night before just to be safe. Anytime I’m going on a cruise I show up with a minimum of $300 in singles I don’t gamble either, but I tip a minimum of $2 a drink alcoholic or not the first couple of days. That $2-3 to a server or bartender the first few days will get you top notch service and a ton of freebies, old bartender trick. You’ll never have to wait in a line for a soda or water, they'll drop off a decent glass of champagne or wine for no reason and they’ll see you coming up and put your drink in front of others. Have fun, the wildlife and glacial scenery was truly awesome.

I have no advice on the chairs at all. Just signed in to say that this is what I appreciate this forum for. The off-topic advice on random subjects that don’t pertain to me and would never cross my mind. I will always take the advice over TNGO over any other online mainstream echo chamber. IMHO it’s topics like this that makes it feel more like a community than a trading post. *inset the “The more you know star going left to right”.

Somewhat off-topic but relevant to the situation. Ammo prices are moving. Just picked up 4k rounds of 9mm range. I expect the panic buying to drive and keep price up for a bit… I bought some magtech from river town munitions an hour ago and had like 40 bundles in stock. Now 0. They still have S&B for that price but I like the way magtech fits in ammo cans better so I opted for that. Have had a lot of visitors this summer and was just plinking yesterday with a friend and said “man I gotta restock”. Then the trump stuff happened and midway and other big players immediately bumped prices. I use these guys, free ship no tax. Hope this helps. https://rivertownmunitions.com/product/sellier-and-bellot-sb-9mm-115-grain-fmj-50-rd-box-1000-rd-case-x-4-cases-4000-rds-total-4th-of-july-only-sale-expires-at-midnight-4000-rd-case/
