The words reliable and Turkish when talking shotguns are an oxymoron. Could get lucky, the majority of the internet has nothing good to say. https://dahlonegaarmory.com/product/maverick-arms-88-vr-youth-pump-20ga-22-3-blk-synthetic-stock-black Maverick 88 is universally agreed upon as the best cheap shotgun. This is a youth version which may fit the wife decently if shorter arms. Same site has multiple lengths They’re a drop shipper. Think it’s usually $20 ship and no tax at least to TN. I have a couple of the 88s, 500 and 590 and no issues with them whether it be critters or shooting buck and slugs.

https://shootingtargets7.com I’ve found this site to be the best. Small and vet owned, sends an email only once a week with something heavily discounted. I shop around a lot. Dragon targets has some decent deals every now and then. With all of this stuff getting free ship is the priority. I have not yet bought this from Dragon Targets, looks fun and like the modularity hoping it goes on sale for a holiday and then will buy (if you don’t care about buying “Halloween targets” for Christmas they’ll drop the price drastically after they do special runs). https://dragontargets.com/dragon-targets-tin-can-alley-target-set/?srsltid=AfmBOorWpnz1BKdQf_YvaWmbwWYjs5IuFXKBnWdOtDd08qAR8pe-3FNg I follow spec on all the ratings and my targets are all a few years old and no pitting. Just need to remind people not to shoot rimfires with anything but .22. I’ve had good luck with the self healing hangers and just use tposts. Have used conduit and tones scraps in a pinch but those are more temporary. People swear by fire hoses as well. Also stick welded some conduit just for s&g’s that are small ground level targets, rods I used weren’t right for application but have held. https://www.sbyproducts.com/product/fire-hose-roll-1-5-diameter-2-5-flat-/26?cs=true&cst=custom - good reviews.

Saw this yesterday but was two busy to comment. My first thought was to comment “I want to be you when I grow up”. Then remembered how it hurts to get out of bed and had a brief existential crisis about where time went. That’s a beauty.

Looking to gift my dad a pistol for Christmas due to arthritis and he’s in a ban state. Seeing if anyone moved here from a ban state or picked up mags in a trade. Ton of Glock mags to trade, regular capacity M&P, wide variety of ammo. Cash works as well. Thanks.

I actually think I have all the guns that I want at the moment. Seems weird to even think that let alone type it. I’m at the point where I’m tired of cleaning and storing. Casually looking for a stripped 10.5” upper just to mate with a spare lower, would trade a g20sf + ammo for a g40 for deer hunting provided Im confident I’d get an ethical shot. Have my ideal shotgun setups for various things, couple pricey 9mm and cheaper striker fired, deer rifles for short or long setups, good pocket carry setup and happy with all my .22s. Think I’m well rounded and not much else I’d like to try out or upgrade to. Still don’t have a crazy expensive AR but I don’t shoot much 5.56. If anything I’d just want to do a few direct mills or upgrade optics and a trigger install here and there. I guess I’m content for the moment and it feels good.

SSA-E for +-$121. Free shipping! Sign up for text notifications for 10% off. Negates state theft. https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-gear-gun-supplies/gun-parts-magazines/rifle-parts/rifle-triggers/geissele-super-semi-automatic-enhanced-ar15ar10-two-stage-rifle-trigger/p/1628399 Geissele didn’t do their blem sale this year, I think I paid this for their “blem” last year. Very good deal.

Apparently people made some sort of 3d print prototype and mags are going for a premium. Special thanks to the member who took time out of his day to drop one off to me one winter day and wouldn’t accept anything in return. I have two of them, I just think they’re neat little Saturday night specials.

If you can find a buddy to go halves with I like S&B for 10mm. It’s loaded hot and not to .40 specs like a lot of range ammo. It’s my go to range. Also I wish every distributor would follow S&Bs packaging, takes up far less space in the safe. https://rivertownmunitions.com/product/sellier-and-bellot-10mm-180-grain-fmj-50-rd-box-1000-rd-case/ These guys take a couple days to ship but no tax, free shipping and it’s always taped up and wrapped in discreet packaging. Find a buddy to split a case at a hair under .40cpr. Almost 30% cheaper than buying by the box with tax added. Stings a little less.

Anytime, this community has been good to me and it doesn’t take much to post here or text real quick. I’m frugal, have a ton of email sign up’s and if I think it’s relevant I’ll try to post here. I’ll wait until I need to make a bulk ammo purchase and then dedicate a couple weeks scouring multiple times a day for no tax and free shipping. Any ammo I’ve personally sold or traded is a steal compared to market. One thing I do try to be very aware of is to not post deals when a member has something else for sale though, so if that ever does happen to anyone know it was an accident. Just a heads up if anyone has Giselle money they usually do their “blemula” sales this weekend before Halloween. Everything goes very quickly. I do not have Giselle $$$ atm but I’ve definitely bought a few blem triggers for +30% off. I’m unfortunately entering no new build November with the holidays coming up.

sale-or-trade Sig P238 Scorpion (.380)

This is a great deal. Favorite pocket pistol. Love mine and wouldn’t part with it for $500. -
Just curious, is the 2 rd mag meant to be with the intention of hunting legalities I assume? Cool scattergun. Thanks.

Also not a Glock fanboy. I think of getting out of Glock at least twice a week, but I have too many magazines and too many compatible guns that accept them. You’re good to go with running whatever mags in whatever generation. The only thing I’ve ever read is that gen 5 mags are ambidextrous if you want to swap the mag release for a lefty. The other exception to this is for a 19x as the baseplates and mag well aren’t compatible without doing some filing. Gen5 mags will have an orange follower. The base plates are also extended a bit. Other than that the dimensions, tolerances, springs, etc are identical to other gens. I actually saw a post from you the other day and was trying to think of the times that I met up with you, I think possibly it was for a magpul Glock mag bundle. Couldn’t put my finger on it. There’s a company (I think it’s from TN) called Jageman that also makes cheap off brand Glock mags and I’ve had no issues with there double stacks for plinking. Have not tried the single stacks.

I totally get where you’re coming from. Luckily my neighbors are acres away, and like minded. Once one of us starts shooting on the weekend there’s usually a 15-30 minute lag before the Cumberland ridge starts to echo in various directions. I have an elderly neighbor that I pal around/handyman/garden for and shoot with every once in a while. He goes down for naps a lot, if I have an open window on a weekend off and I’m shooting some large caliber I’ll give him a shout to make sure he’s not napping. Not every time, but if I have an open 6-hour window I give him a quick buzz. If I've got the itch, or trying out a new gun and just want to run a quick 6-10 mags early evening, I won’t call. He’s also had some younger kids over and called me once while I was plinking and asked if I could refrain as they’re not used to hearing gunshots. Could argue that I should just let them get used to the fact that guns used responsibly aren’t scary, but at the same time I’m not gonna ruin their right to quiet enjoyment during a picnic just because I want to shoot off a dozen mags of higher caliber. Saw a new neighbor move in, introduced myself and gave my info saying if they needed help with anything around the house or if anything happens to give me a call. Mentioned that I shoot once every week or so and put it rather matter of factly. She responded with “yeah, my daughter heard and didn’t like the loud noises”. I replied with “well her uncle next door shoots too, I hear him sighting in his rifle before every deer season, and her uncle shoots a lot of handguns so I’m glad she’s used to it” and left it at that. But at the same time, if the kid has a birthday party I’m not going to invite a few friends over and have us all ringing steel midday. So while I understand that it’s a right and I’m doing nothing wrong, I still want to respect someone’s right to quiet enjoyment. Not the biggest inconvenience for me to be neighborly when I could in theory shoot most evenings before dusk after work.

https://geissele.com/hurricane-relief-drive.html Geisselle is donating 100% of profits to relief. SSA trigger sold out, SSA-e/x still available. This is there pretty much blem pricing. Have an SSA-E blem that’s a beaut. Feel good and treat yourself. Win win.

I feel like this is a sign of the economic crunch everyone is feeling. 12-24 months ago this would be gone in hours. I’ll give a bump to a great seller, everything he sells is better than described. Great guy to boot.
