  1. What’s the noise it is making on start up? Is it just loud as all hell when the compressor kicks on and then rattles off? Or does the rattling continue and sort of chatter? Have you had someone out to service and diagnose? Last time it was properly cleaned? Could be something simple like a dirty evap coil. Could be an airflow issue. May get lucky and just be off on refrigerant. Having someone just do a clean and a tuneup and check out the refrigerant levels/pull it and pump it down and put it back in might do the trick. If you do a quick google search for “new epa refrigerant mandates”, there’s a big industry wide refrigerant switch coming. I haven’t followed up on it since it was announced as it was delayed and walked back and wouldn’t directly affect me this year. I would at the least clean, check airflow, charge, pull and put back in. You don’t want to be the guinea pig for a brand new refrigerant and newly manufactured condenser model. Catch-22 is that then companies will charge more for 410a because it won’t be produced and sold in mass anymore. They’re phasing it out. The price is only going up, manufacturing quality on newer hvac is far inferior to old. Just my opinion, I do a lot of hvac repair and new unit installs April-September but maybe someone else that does solely hvac could chime in. If the noise is a clanging and rattling noise that cuts deep to the soul on compressor start up that noise no lie gives me minor ptsd and is like nails on a chalkboard at this point. Lot of times it’s an easy fix, if it were mine I would limp it along until the compressor fully burntout and then upgrade. But I don’t know her situation, just my opinion. If you do call someone out, call a mom and pop shop. Don’t call anyone with a billboard. Private equity has bought out and turned a ton of hvac guys into sales people who will just tell your ma to buy a new system. Also, if they sell you on a warranty triple check that the labor is covered and not just parts. The big players will all cover parts, find a shop that stands by their work and will at the very least work with you on some guarantee of labor.
  2. I’ll take it. I’ll shoot you a text.
  3. I’ll shoot you a pm. I’ll take it if you are able to meet this Saturday or possibly Sunday in the Spring Hill area. Work schedule isn’t allowing for much more time.
  4. I’m shipping my 17 slide off to be milled. I’ll take it. Shoot me a text in the AM.

    5.7 Pistol

That will give you the ballistics. The PSA rock has gotten good reviews for what it’s worth. I want to say I saw one of there kind of always rotating blem sales of a package with 5-10 mags for $400 plus the outrageous psa shipping and theft within the last 3 weeks. Ammo has come down significantly. Same or cheaper than 5.56 now that aac retooled and started producing.
  8. I’ll take it. Sending pm.
  9. If you will mail the sling I’ll take it plus shipping. Pm me if so please.
  10. If you bought it a year plus ago it was a different manufacturer. It used to be just rebranded magtech out of Brazil I believe. I think they switched the manufacturer to ZSR a Turkish brand that’s relabeled as a few more American sounding stuff when it’s imported. I’ve shot a few thousand rounds of that ZSR in the beginning of COVID price spikes and was fine with it, but people have differing reports, especially with a batch or two of 5.56. All this info is off of memory and pieced together from different forums but I think that’s how I remember it. I may have a Glock range mag from a batch I bought last year and can check the stamp at some point.
  11. I know it’s a hike. But if you find yourself in the Nashville or Murfreesboro area have a Glock 17 in great shape I’d trade.
  12. I appreciated the description, and whole heartedly agree. GLWS.
  13. Check around holidays and there are some steals on stripped complete uppers.
  14. https://www.schuylerarmsco.com/manufacturers/aero-precision-993 My go to for aero. Small shop, built in house, no tax and reasonable fast shipping.
  15. They’ve made unbelievable strides in the non alcoholic beer market. Went to trivia at a brewery. They had a local NA Pilsner that had me question it was non alcoholic. Heineken zero, athletic brew has a range from ipa to domestic style and such, sam Adam’s, Sierra Nevada, there’s a lot more options in the past three years than previously. I forget the local company but it scratched the itch.
  16. Any chance you would want a glock17 somebody may have sold to me “still with the factory grease and one mag through it”. Only ask because I think a couple weeks ago you posted about wanting one. I love my canik and would love another over a Glock.
  17. I guess I was so used to being up north that I never really thought about it. So the ones that start to fly over Davidson county around September or October I’m their Flying V formation, are those fair game? Feel like I always see them some time around the fall solstice for a few weeks at a time.
  18. Following. I didn’t do much research into the subject but I always thought Canadian geese were “migratory birds” or something like that and thus not able to be hunted. I did minimal research, reaching to see if anyone has an answer. Thanks.
  19. I think this is such a cool little gun, the muzzle flash at dark is sure to get a few smiles when plinking. I think the only other time I remember seeing one of these even mentioned on the forum was like 2021. https://skogensgunsupply.com/product-details?id=986941 I just did a quick ammoseek because I was curious if round price and this stood out. I’ve ordered from skogens a bunch. Packaged well and no tax (unless they hit their state threshold and now charge). Free shipping at $300. If you remember and post a follow up would be reading for your opinion. Looks awesome though.
