  1. I sewed a pack of cilantro in the garden last year. The deer loved it! I got a little tub I’m going to try and grow some spices in this year.

Is it not feeding from the mag or what? I’ve always had good luck with 1911s except for a Springfield EMP I bought used. It would leave a spent casing in the chamber. I bent the extractor in a bit and now it works flawlessly.
  3. Nope. You aren’t alone.
  4. Wifey found canning lids at the local Dollar General yesterday. First we’ve seen in a while.
  5. In my opinion, they were sort of a neat novelty when they were sub $100 and ammo was cheap. I don't have any use for one given today's prices of both rifles and ammo. I can buy a much nicer rifle for less money.
  6. No. That’s a new one on me. I sure wouldn’t be opposed to one though. I sure miss my old Lab, but wife isn’t quite ready to get another one yet. It was like losing a child for her.
  7. I put some miles on it today. It is windy, but still very nice. I got over 48mpg on the last tank of gas. That’s pretty cool! I’m sure hoping to wear out a set of tires this year.
  8. It felt great to get out and ride a bit today. Have to go to a baseball game after while. I’d ride to it, but not sure my wife would like riding that far at night. Baby steps with her cause she still isn’t real sure about all this motorcycle business.
  9. I keep the garden clean with a tractor and one row cultivator and a gooseneck hoe. It takes some effort and time. You can buy sweet corn at the farmer's market or Mennonite stand cheaper and easier than raising it. That doesn't make my wife as happy as seeing me sweating my azz off hoeing rocks in our garden, however.
  10. I think you need to scroll on through the thread and get to the Bob portion of the program.
  11. Is some decent riding weather too much to ask for? It’s frigid here! The weatherman says warmer weather two days out. He’s been saying that for a week now.
  12. Look in the handgun subforum. I’ll bump it to the top for you.
  13. The infamous “Bob gun” would be quite the collector piece!
  14. I love your advertising, sir! You missed your calling. You should have been in sales. I have no use for this gun, but still find myself thinking about buying it.
  15. I love my RIA 4". I bought it used. It came with a box of ammo with a magazine's worth missing. I'm pretty sure that's all it had been shot. I added an ambi safety lever, 3 dot sights, and the elk stag grips. I have some nicer 1911s, but this one is probably my favorite.
  16. You'll find a 5 gal bucket a bit small for a tomato plant. If you have a buddy or neighbor who raises cattle, those plastic mineral tubs are perfect.
  17. I’d love to take a ride on one of those!
  18. You can order directly from Anderson or Palmetto State and have them shipped to your dealer. Your dealer should also be able to order them. You’d think a dealer would have a pile in stock, but who knows these days?
  19. I always heard a zero turn wasn’t any good for bills and slopes. I’ve been on some that proved that true. The one I have now will pretty much go anywhere I can take my tractor and bush hog. There is a learning curve involved in figuring out what one will and won’t do and how to best do it.
  20. That’s cool!
  21. I'll be happy to provide the public service of collecting all that old, dirty Russian ammo (Chinese too), and dispose of it properly.
  22. If you are surprised by this, stand on your head.
  23. The man stays busy. There’s no denying that.
