  1. Not life changing, or worth the effort in my opinion, but if you enjoy doing it, I can’t shoot any holes in your idea.
  2. I’d love to go back and fish with either of my grandfathers.
  3. Only fish we caught today, but we still had fun.
  4. He’ll turn 80 in December. He was telling me about planning to go bushhog his deer lease right before he caught this. I hope I’m doing as well at that age.
  5. She was a treasure.
  6. The paperwork is the same for one of three, so an FFL should charge the same price either way, but ask first. If you can find exactly what you want, I’d suggest you’d be as well off to buy one. If you are going to buy one and start swapping out parts and pieces to better suit your taste, just buy the parts and build your own. If you don’t have, or can’t borrow the necessary tools to build, you need to consider the cost of buying them as well as all the needed parts. Most gun stores should stock lower receivers. Many will have Anderson or PSA brands. Either will be fine. You’d be less likely to find one stocking dedicated 9mm lowers, but you never know til you ask.
  7. There’s a ton of stuff to do/see in Chattanooga, but not walking well would make a lot of it tough. You could always head toward Townsend and drive that area. It’s beautiful down around Fontana Lake.
  8. I assume you are aware there are different sized caps. Just going off memory here, but I’m thinking my rifle calls for #11 and my revolvers #10.
  9. Just bring your truck, and I’ll custom make one for you at a very reasonable cost!
  10. Welcome to the club, sir!
  11. Now that’s just cool! You had it down yet?
  12. And that’s why they are so adored at our house.
  13. I see your point, but mine is heated, cooled, and weather proof. It’s also easier to back, and I think it’ll still make it through the drive thru at Hardee’s.
  14. It’s still in the development stages, but I thought I’d offer a sneak preview. I don’t think they’ll ever see me coming!
  15. Cut an empty 2 liter bottle just above the label. Put in sugar and bread crumbs for bait. Turn the top 180 degrees and insert into the bottle. Place where crickets are. I have an old building where crickets inhabit. After one day, this has seemed to decrease their population considerably. I may take them fishing in their near future.

  16. Looks like a very memorable trip, KahrMan! I think I’d enjoy that.
  17. Chicago is such a lovely place.
  18. I think I read she was in Jamaica last time they were “catching up.”
  19. Be patient. Finally got em worn down, but then we ran out of clock.
  20. Look out! Here come the Commodores!
  21. Bump for fair pricing! Wish I wasn’t a day’s drive away.
  22. https://www.newschannel5.com/news/macon-county-deputys-car-careens-with-rogue-suv-to-save-homecoming-crowd I’m not usually a big banner waving supporter of LEO in general, but may God bless the RSO who stopped this idiot. For years, I would have kids standing in his path during the annual homecoming parade. I don’t know what the hell is wrong with people, but something has to change. Thanks for tolerating my rant.
  23. Wasn’t your county clerk’s office closed just a few weeks ago? She on vacation again? Private party is the way to go unless you insist on a new car of just have to have one today!
  24. As long as the value of my guns is going up and the value of the dollar is going down, I can’t see a good reason to trade them for dollars.
  25. Riding a dirt bike off-road requires an athlete. Several years ago, I decided to buy a dirt bike to ride with buddies. Well, we went out riding through the woods just like we did 30 years ago. It went well for a while. Later, while I was flying over the handlebars and through the woods like Superman, I decided I might be a bit old for this chit now. Loaded the bike up, went home and dressed my wounds, and sold the bike. I’ll stick to paved roads or four shells from now on out.
