  1. Ruger LCP in a pocket holster, strong side front pants pocket. I also have a spare mag and small flashlight in a carrier in my weak side front pocket.
  2. I had one that was unbelievably accurate. You t was still made from ugly pot metal and looked like a kid’s cap gun, but for some reason it always hit precisely where it was pointed.
  3. I do too. He seems like a really good dude.
  4. Your QB definitely isn’t on his game either. I never expected this. I sure wish they’d have waited a week for the wheels to fall off.
  5. It ain’t gonna be any fun to watch if they don’t let up on the targeting calls.
  6. I know it was cold here this morning, but has anybody checked to see if he’ll froze over!!??!!
  7. I expect we all knew what you meant. Is the recoil bad on that thing? Dad bought an old Trapdoor Springfield, and I was surprised at the recoil, even with light handloads and cast bullets. Probably just the shape of the stock and that big old steel buttplate.
  8. That was just a joke. Vandy has nothing for UT this year. I am glad to see them improving. Hopefully, Clark Lea will prove to be a good coach.
  9. Both…and we’ll take it! They’re headed in the right direction. UT had better not take them for granted.
  10. Anchor down!!!!!!!!
  11. Not me. Could you post some pics?
  12. Way to go!!!
  13. Went with one of my kids this morning. We saw some does and young bucks. I got my wish for cooler weather! It was rather brisk. We should still be there, but when the wind picked up, he was ready to go. I didn’t protest much.

That’s a dandy! You rarely see them around here. German guns have a totally different look. I like it.

I always wanted one of those. I’m a big M1 carbine fan. That would make quite the accompaniment for them.
  17. LOL! Ol’ Grunt is a bit of an antique himself!
  18. I reckon that’ll work! Let us know how it shoots.
  19. I have a BB gun, but do not shoot it on a regular basis. Probably would be good for trigger finger discipline.
  20. I went yesterday morning and froze out once the wind picked up. Saw one young 7 pointer. I didn’t go this morning because the weather forecast was windy. Should have went. It is calmer than yesterday. I did finally get this one processed today. I think I’ll wait until Saturday and go with my son.
  21. Best wishes for the wife’s health and I hope the young man gets a good deer!

My father went to our local Ace Hardware and ordered me a brand new H&R 058 Topper with two interchangeable barrels. One is a 20 gauge with modified choke, the other chambered in 30-30 Winchester. I still have the gun and box. That combo has accounted for a lot of game through the years. I need to dig it out of the back of the safe and hunt with it again sometime. I was 10 at the time. I remember him paying $100.
  23. Or simply refrain from pulling the trigger until such time you would like the firearm to fire.
  24. No less safe than a double action revolver that is loaded and uncocked. Don’t pull the trigger and it cannot fire.
