When you think about it, the guys running the military were little boys not that long ago. LOL!

I’m at the end of a dead end road, and my neighbor up the road has a doorbell cam facing the road. He’ll have footage of anything that comes in or out. The way my property lays, you’ll either come by the basement door, or else scale a mountain to get to anything of mine.

Or it could just be an errant weather balloon like the Chinese claimed. One thing I don’t ever expect to hear is the truth.

I don’t have a security system, but otherwise, I’ve been there. I was awakened in the middle of the night to a thunderous banging sound. I wasn’t good and awake, and had no idea what had fallen, or what was going on. Finally woke up enough to grab a gun and go check things out. I looked the entire house over two or three times before I discovered where some meth head had tried to kick in the garage door to the basement. As I live in a quite rural area, I had no idea where he’d come from nor where he went. I decided it was best to not go off down the hollow in the night looking for trouble. I installed a Ring camera/floodlight over the basement door in place of an existing floodlight. If something similar ever happens again, I’ll be alerted on might phone as well as have video footage of who it was. Personally, I’m not a big fan of audible alarms. I’d prefer to have the element of surprise on my side in such a situation.

Let’s say I’m out in the yard with a 30-06. How much do you reckon I need to lead?

I happened to see a fella get denied at Academy Sports today. I didn’t know him, but he sure seemed surprised. Maybe there’s some sort of glitch in the system?

If your seen as not backing your employees, you’ll have a rough time replacing them. Remember Vanderbilt throwing that nurse under the bus a year or so back? They’ve been severely understaffed since. Nobody wants to work for someone that doesn’t have their back.

Buy it cheap and stack it deep! We’ve seen this movie before. We’re one event from going right back to prices doubling or unavailable again.

I read the police chief had been previously fired from the Atlanta police force. You’re right. The organization usually reflects it’s leadership.

The main thing I’ve seen change is the fact there are now cameras everywhere. This is nothing new.

Everybody needs to watch it. It’s your tax dollars at work.

Wouldn’t be a bad place to carry those 5 officers and dump them out. Let the community sort it out.

Clean that heirloom up and keep it as it is. Its value as it sits is basically the same as it would be if you had it refinished. If you want a nice example, take the refinishing money and purchase a nice, original example. Just a guy on the internet’s opinion. It’s yours. Do what makes you happy. Sometimes you need to do that, economics be damned! Oh yeah. If you haven’t done so yet, put that thing back together and go shoot it. They are amazing little pocket pistols!
