  1. LOL! I think that would include everyone but me.
  2. I could make one, but I don't have the proper magazine or flashlight to use for molds. I expect that was the reason Mr. Bullard declined.
  3. Mr. Case is an a$$hole. If he's still teaching, Lynn Peterson is hands down the greatest guitar teacher in the land.
  4. A golden rod dehumidifier is essential in a gun safe unless you like red guns.
  5. I believe this is the link LSN sent to me when I requested it.
  6. I once had a model 70 Winchester with the same problem. The stock had swelled due to moisture, years of oil, or whatever. Relieving the necessary areas on the stock solved the problem. I'm not sure that is your problem, but it would be something to look at. Will it stay closed if the barreled action is taken out of the stock?
  7. JDLawhon.com - Holstermaking 101 Cowboy Holster Tutorial - Leatherworker.net I'd suggest you look these over before making your voyage to the leather store. I'll warn you; you'll make several trips to the leather store if you're like me. It's addictive. Good luck and show us what you've done.
  8. jack, Have you tried black shoe polish?
  9. You guys have got to try your hand at making holsters! It is a blast!!!!
  10. Yes it is a 5-1/2". I was contemplating selling it, but then I came to my senses.
  11. Here's try #2 in tan. I think it turned out pretty good....even if it is backward.
  12. If you are allowed an allotment, you are welcome to my share!
  13. It is the style of the holster. It is all cut in one piece. The part that holds the pistol is folded in half and sewn. It is then tucked into the loops cut into the backside of the piece of leather. This makes a fold that becomes your belt loop.
  14. Definitely an upgrade! I'm not sure that is a 1911, however. I like the grips.
  15. Thanks to fellow member mw. for posting this link in another thread. I found directions here to make a mexican loop holster. I think it turned out pretty cool.Leatherworker.net
  16. Wow! They've had a rough week with media relations.

    Good cops?!

    Sorry....I've got nothing.
  18. Thanks to everyone who responded. I was trying to figure out what color would be the most popular if I wanted to make some for sale. It looks like variety is the way to go. Thanks again.

    New "toy"

Yes, mine has a half cock position. I assume it is to be used when reloading and not as a sefety measure. It does have the safety grooves between chambers. I believe that is where you rest the hammer when not in use.
  20. I've got one for a 44 Magnum. It has never seemed very comfortable to me, but then that's a lot of gun to support.
  21. Red Wing Belts: Full Grain Distressed Leather Belt 96511BRN I'm wearing this one right now. I can't make one any cheaper.
