  1. Nice to have someone from France here. Oh wait....wrong Paris.
  2. Welcome. Gallatin has a gun club, and there is an indoor range next door to Asherbranner's Pawn Shop on South Water as well.
  3. We'll still let you hang out even if you are a UT fan. Nice to meet ya.
  4. Welcome. I hope you enjoy this forum as much as I do.
  5. Greetings. There are a good buch of folks here. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
  6. Try these guys. Firearm Parts and Accessories | Numrich Gun Parts Corp. | e-GunParts.com= Looks like $1.25 each, and $1.55 a pair for half moons. That's a fine revolver.
  7. We must have had the same dad. This worked for me, and it's how I'm raising my children.
  8. I wouldn't want to be "the example" the courts tried to make regarding this law.
  9. This happened to me and some friends one night. We were going to a motorcycle race in an unfamiliar town and made a wrong turn somewhere. We weren't in the best part of town. We were going down a street when numerous "brothers" strolled out and lined up across the road facing us. My friend turned to me, white as a sheet, and asked what I thought we should do. I told him if he wanted to get home that night he'd better step on the accelerator. That worked, and is what I'd do in the situation you presented as well. A car is a far better defensive weapon than a handgun.
  10. I'm going to bet your firing pin spring is on the verge of being too weak, or more likely, a headspace problem. Some brands of primers are a touch harder to ignite than others. Try them again, maybe in a different gun. I'm betting the ammo is good, but anything is possible.
  11. Product: Model M&P15 Rifle From the Smith and Wesson website: "Caliber: 5.56 mm NATO / .223"
  12. Don't buy anything inside Davidson county!!!!!!! That being said, the further from Davidson county you get, the cheaper the cost of living.
  13. I disagree. If you have kids, teach them about guns. Don't try to hide them or lock them away. Your kids need to know gun safety, even if they are around guns other than yours. My kids aren't within eyesight all the time. Are yours?
  14. DOn't discount the $5.00 uncle Mike's pocket holster. I'm very happy with the one I have. http://www.uncle-mikes.com/products/inside_the_pocket_holsters.html They're slick on the inside, sticky on the outside, fit in your pocket and stay put. That's about all I want from one.
  15. They'll work. Wait....check your owner's manual....if it specifically states NOT to use 5.56 ammo in the gun, don't. Otherwise, fire away.
  16. A man with excellent tastes.
  17. I'd shop around for a used Remington Nylon 66.
  18. You won't go wrong with any of the Rugers in my opinion. Heck, get one of each! Next, you'll need a Smith and Wesson double action 22.
  19. SOunds lile you've already got thom in order. What type of training are you looking at?
  20. I'll buy ammo where I can find it if I need it or want it. I'll also buy ammo when I find a good deal; need it or not. I am a hoarder I suppose, but I've certainly never comtemplated selling any ammo. I have given quite a bit away through the years, however.
