  1. The last gun I bought at a pawn shop was what appeared to me an unfired, mint model 70 Winchester in 30-06 for $299 out the door! I don't call that overpriced.
  2. S&W Forum You can learn more than you'd ever want to know here about a Smith and Wesson.
  3. Words to live by. I'm glad I have boys.
  4. If you feel a gun is overpriced you can always make a reasonable offer on it. I've found very few pawn shops where cash doesn't get their attention.
  5. Ya gotta post pics!!!!
  6. Sure. Everbody wants it!
  7. Wonderful! Give the little guy a bug TGO hug for all of us.
  8. I stand corrected! You learn something new every day.
  9. $17.97 plus tax for 20 rounds is a dollar a pop. OUCH!!!
  10. In fact, 45 Colt is THE name of the cartridge. There is no 45 Short Colt. I don't know why people insist on adding the "Long" moniker to it.

    Question

Sure. They make a mount for that.
  12. I need a lot of practice on the carving, but you've got to start somewhere.
  13. I've bought some interesting stuff in pawn shops. The fact is that I buy stuff that a lot of people don't know about or care about. I'm as likely to buy a gun from a pawn shop as anywhere else. I'll buy a gun in a whore house if the price is right.
  14. That's a nice clean hard to find in original condition car. I'd beg you to keep it stock and take care of it. It'll be worth a wad in a few years. Nice score!
  15. Dumb question.....DO they grow back without the ingrown problem, or do you not have any toenails today?
  16. Sorry Rightwinger, but this: looks more like the girls in Westmoreland than this:
  17. Send the broad in the liquor store with your list and some money.
  18. Academy has 223 ammo on sale, I believe, for $3.99 per box of 20. It would be hard to beat that reloading. Weekly Ad - page 21 As others have stated, I would never sell any reloads, and there are very few people who I trust enough to fire their reloads. If you are shooting my reloads and your gun blows up, guess who's fault it is? It doesn't matter what really happened.
  19. Trade for revolvers. My 1917 Smith and Wesson never leaves a mark on brass.

FiddleDog, You have a PM. Actually, you have a series of PMs, but I'd like you to disregard all of them except the most recent one.
  21. Yeah...I didn't mean to post it twice.
