  1. What does the winner get?
  2. Burris fixed 10x scope w/target towers & AO - 24hourcampfire How bout this?
  3. I think that's how they come in China.
  4. No I'm not. I'm saying they'd vote for the ruling class elite socialist b$$#%@##s who promise to hand out free goodies for nothing, Democrat AND Republican...mostly Democrat! How's that for not generalizing?
  5. I just bought a 12x Weaver scope on 24hourcampfire.com classified section for $98. I wouldn't swap it for the best Tasco or Simmons you can lay your hand on. If you watch the classifieds on some of these sites as well as ebay, you can find great deals on used scopes. I have several Leupold scopes, and would consider selling one, but miine aren't as big as you'd like.I'd suggest you watch ###.com as well as several gun related forums that have classified sections. Just leave a few for me!
  6. It doesn't make it shoot any different, but does ruin collector value beyond the parts one could salvage from it. You'd need to figure out what someone would pay for a shooter, and then the total you could get from selling it part by part.
  7. I've tried about everything except an ankle holster. I don't even like socks, so I'm convinced that couldn't be comfortable. I haven't found the perfect solution yet. Maybe it varies from person to person, but I don't think it exists. I most frequently pocket carry a j frame 38, and recently have come to prefer the slimness of a Ruger LCP. If my clothing permits, I prefer OWB. As others have stated, a good double layer gun belt makes all the difference.
  8. I'm not directing my blame towards the Democrats alone. Both parties suck, and seem to be treading ever closer toward a one world government as well as unbridled socialism. Once these folks get a taste of power, their thirst can't be quenched.
  9. They'd vote wrong. I'm starting to believe that nothing is an accident.
  10. You and my wife are quite possibly the only people in the world that would look at that picture and take that away from it.
  11. I hate to hear that. It is a pity that it is so difficult for somone who'd contribute to immigrate here, while it seems that bums have no problems finding their way here.
  12. My Doctor has a hand written, barely legible note hanging nex to the office door stating: Guns and Knives aren't permitted. Real professional.
  13. I'd let Georgia Arms know and see of they or the ammo manufacturer would step up and pay your gunsmith bill as well as check the other ammo to see if this was a fluke or an epidemic.
  14. Cool!!!!!!!!!!
  15. How are you here? If you claim U.S. citizenship, you aren't British or English.....you're an American! You must be an American. Most people here are offended by pretty much everything these days.

    257 Roberts

I have three, and shoot 100 grain Sierras in them. I don't know why the 6mm would be chambered in a short action. The 257 is a fine deer cartridge, but a pretty much handloading proposition. Cases are made on a yearly run, so if you find some, stock up!
  17. The cool thing is that they both fit the same holster!
  18. Buy a Leupold scope. Heck, buy a used one! They are the best for the money, and have a no questions asked, unlimited lifetime warranty. Send it back, they fix it and return it to you quickly. That's it.

    Sight Adjustment

    Sledge hammer! A big one.
  20. A few more thoughts: My wife is set on her J frame Smith and Wesson revolver. She hated these 380s. As for me, I don't care for the feel of moving parts when I'm firing a gun. I also don't like the fact that if , heaven forbid you had to use one for it's intended purpose, The semi auto leaves your spent casings at the scene. I've yet to have a revolver to fail. I can't say that about a semi auto. On the other hand, The LCP and P3AT are thinner, more comfortable to carry, and easier to conceal than the revolver, along with the fact they hold two more rounds of ammo than a J frame. In the end, it seems you give up something either way.
  21. Update: I fired both of these today; side by side. Here are my thoughts on them. I found both of them to be amazingly accurate for their size. At 15 yards, all shots are easily kept on a sheet of printer paper, with most in a four inch group near the middle. This isn't competition accuracy, and I an't that great with a pistol, but for their intended purpose this is more than acceptable. I found the KelTec noticably thinner than the Ruger. I didn't weigh them, as both of them are very light and I can't feel a difference in weight. I had the finger extension on the Ruger mag, and the KelTec didn't have one, so the Ruger was a bit easier to hold. I couldn't tell any difference in recoil between them, and frankly it wasn't that bad on either. Both fired and ejected everything we shot in them with no problems at all. I found the trigger on the Keltec to be smoother than the Ruger, but the pull was shorter on the Ruger. The magazine slid in the Keltec smoother than the Ruger. The Ruger ejected shells just over my head, while the Keltec shot them into another zip code All in all, I like them both for the purpose they were designed to serve. If I were buying one, I'd go with whichever I could get the best price on.
  22. Cool. You learn something new every day. I don't think I like the idea of one trigger and no selector.
  23. That fanny pack even looks gay on Chuck Norris!
