  1. Great looking handgun. Some good looking leather as well.
  2. THat's exactly what Mr. Lovett did. It was simply beautiful.
  3. No. Lafayette isn't allowing any new residents. Sorry.
  4. Arkansas stone. For a swivel knife, hobby knife, or other knife that meeds to be super sharp, I use a leather strop glued onto a wooden paddle and coated with jeweler's rouge.
  5. Might even want to be a customer.
  6. I've shot several pets when they got to the point of no return. It is much more humane than letting them suffer. It isn't an easy thing to do, but it is more economical than paying a vet to do it. There's really a law against it?
  7. Love my Glenfield model 60, which is an older version of the same rifle. I paid $60 for it.
  8. Rock on!!!!
  9. He did an amazing job singing the National Anthem last night at game 4 of the World Series. I've never been a big fan, but in comparison of some of the hack jobs on our anthem I've heard lately, he earned a new respect from me. A class act indeed. What did you think?
  10. I don't know chit about it, but since the Saturn plat closed, I'll bet you can buy a mini mansion for pennies on the dollar around Spring Hill.
  11. Perhaps you could be a reciepient this year instead of a donor. People in your spot are what it's for I think.
  12. Step up guys. Surely you'd like to help someone around the holidays. It is a good thing. Anything positive attached to gun owners has to be a boon for us. We sure get our share of bad publicity.
  13. I have found the Chapel Hill area very nice. Might be a bit far out for you, however.
  14. If you wish to go all out, the Registered Magnum is the pinnacle of revolver perfection.
  15. I like mine. All you need, and nothing you don't.
  16. Bucks are lone here, and running scrape lines. I think rattling time is near.
  17. Great pics everybody! My son didn't have time to go yesterday. This morning, I hate to tell you that he shot a very nice buck, and we couldn't find it. I believe he likely gut shot it. It's partly my fault. I've taught him to shoot behind the shoulder, and this deer was walking toward us. It turned just a bit, and that's where he shot; right behind the shoulder. He knows better now. I hate it like everything, but the deer just isn't anywhere to be found.
  18. How about a TGO Authorized Vendor logo?
  19. A pumpkin, watermelon, or tomato, is a great way to demonstrate to small children the power of a firearm, and the importance of not playing with them.
  20. 1/2 hour before sunrise until 1/2 hour after sunset. That being said, I will protect my property; law be damned.
  21. DOn't mean to offend you, but good. I wish the TWRA well in cracking down on law breakers. They give legal hunters, and gun owners in general, a bad name.
  22. The 1000 pound crocodile kind of got me. How big do those things get??!!?? And the gorilla. I don't think you can do that any more. I read some stories once about hunting gorillas. They are some mean and intelligent animals.
  23. Oh, I'd like to shoot one as well. I just meant that nothing about the looks of it appealed to me.
  24. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. It is one of the most horrid looking contraptions I've ever seen. I do hope you get one if you really like it however.
  25. I really enjoyed these pics from a bygone era. My how times have changed! I love to see which guns the old guys chose. See how many you can identify. I hope you enjoy them as well. Someone put together quite a collection. Old Hunting Photos. | Facebook
