  1. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the short barreled I and J frame 22s were referred to as kit guns. Yours is a heavy frame target model. It looks to be a very nice example at that! I do not shoot high velocity ammo in mine. You will simply be amazed at the accuracy and smoothness of the action. It is hard to believe such fine craftsmanship could be had with the machinery available a century ago. I find it comical such a small and dainty revolver was called a heavy frame, but compared to the tiny M frame lady smith also available at the time, it was just that.
  2. I like to cook them in a pressure cooker until tender, then pull the meat off the bone and put in a pot of dumplins.
  3. It appears to me to be.
  4. Thank you for helping support our rights.
  5. I agree. How do you legislate it?
  6. What if we wholesale abandon the in person school model in favor of some form of online curriculum? I know this is an outlandish proposal on its face, but consider it for a moment. We’d no longer need to build or maintain school buildings. No more school buses would dramatically help traffic congestion and pollution, as well as save an untold amount of energy consumption. Parents would have more choices for their children, and he forced to be more active in their children’s’ education. Best of all, there’d be no more school shootings! Sound crazy? It makes more sense to me than banning firearms.
  7. Trolling is his only function here. Nothing new.
  8. Thanks for the kind words, men. The Mexican Loop style holster is pretty cool because it is a single piece of leather. There is only one stitch line, so it is pretty easy to make. Most of the original examples were laced with rawhide or somehow held together with brads, rivets, hog rings, or whatever they could access. I understand the Mexican people, back during cowboy days, had trouble accessing thread and needles. So although this design has a cool western look, the original design was born more out of necessity.
  9. I’m a life member of the NRA, but I’m not giving them another dime until they straighten up their act. When the solicitors call, I always tell the. This. They act like I’m not the first one who’s told them that.
  10. 7.5” barrel is pretty long.
  11. I believe it is. Our own Worriedman is deeply involved in it. They do a lot of good work for us Tennessee gun owners.
  12. I have one. He’s in college, a Baptist preacher, lives on his own, and pretty much self sufficient. Not a kid in any respect.
  13. I was watching it rain today, and figured my 7.5" Colt SAA needed it's own holster.
  14. Well, no unarmed women were shot to death for one.
  15. I have a book about him. If half of it is true, he was a fist class bad ass!
  16. The response was definitely different.
  17. The mental health issue is a tough one. There are obviously many people who simply shouldn’t be walking around in public. My concern is who gets to make that decision. There are no doubt many folks who’d put me in an asylum if they could. Some of these folks happen to be elected officials. I wish I knew the solution. If it were easy, I guess it wouldn’t still be a problem.
  18. I would expect so. Probably most of what you find on the internet is fake. What I said really had little to do with the meme.
  19. Many physicians share the opinion that simply owning a firearm is a mental deficiency. As for opinions, I simply want this type thing to stop without making me and millions of other law abiding citizens criminals.
  20. Red flag laws will be the weapon of choice for ex wives/jilted girlfriends as well as pissed off neighbors. Just imagine your home being raided and firearms confiscated simply because your neighbor didn’t like some small thing you did and made a call on you. If an adult can’t be trusted with a firearm, should they be in public at all?
  21. I’ve read both in several places. Who the hell knows?
