TO address the original post, I regularly store extra garden seed in my deep freezer in the basement. They grow just like newly purchased seed. I don't know how long they'd last, but I'd guess indefinitely, as long as the integrity of the seed wasn't somehow compromised by bugs eating them, moisture, rot, etc. Seeds germinated after various ice ages.

For a nominal fee, Roy Jinks will write you a letter on Smith and Wesson letterhead, giving all the information available for your revolver; including shipping date, where it was shipped, and in what original configuration it was shipped. These letters are very good investments in the Smith collecting world.

I don't have a preference either way. I find both sites pretty user friendly compared to other forums. I do hope I'm only seeing part of the new test program, however, because a lot of the features here aren't there; or at least i can't find them. All the sections aren't there, and neither is the PM part of the program.
