  1. Have the current restrictions reduced the meth problem? Stupid people will weed themselves out of the gene pool if we'd leave them alone. In the meantime, pseudoephederine is the only product on the market, in my opinion, that does anything to combat the effects of a sinus infection. There are many products on the market, that when used incorrectly, can lead to death and injury. You can't legislate personal responsibility. Anyway, a large percentage of meth is now coming up from Mexico. Many existing laws have to be broken to manufacture and distribute meth. Why do you think that passing another law would help?
  2. There's currently a bill pending in Congress to make pseudoephedrine available only be prescription. Welcome to communism. It's for the children.
  3. I agree on the guns, but you obviously didn't meet the idiot who moved near me, and raised dogs. We ran him off, and it's possible to have waaaaaaaaaay too many dogs.
  4. I sent them a check.
  5. I think it stems from the bad triggers and inexperienced shooters. I have a friend who has an old one, and it shoots better than mine. I've seen him shoot sub 1" groups from the prone position; not off a bench.
  6. Good job. That one looks like it's leaking, however.
  7. If you enjoy the salt brine rusting away your car, you'll really love the beet juice they're beginning to mix with it in some counties. Try to gwt that off your new white car! I am of the opinion that someone high up in the Tennessee government owns a chain of car washes and possibly a beat farm.
  8. I disagree that the old mini 14s aren't accurate. Mine will shoot 1 1/2" 100 yard groups with WalMart ammo. Not a target rifle, but you can't really call that inaccurate.
  9. I've considered this for years, and I've decided that the in line muzzleloader concept goes back a long, long time. It's hard to draw a difinitive line in the regulation you propose. How far back do we go? Caplock? Flintlock? Wheellock? ROund ball only? I say the more sportsmen we get into the woods the better. A man can freely place self imposed restrictions on himself without interfering with others. I hunted with a sidelock for years, and really didn't feel handicapped by it. I went with the in line mainly for the ease of cleaning.
  10. Very in depth and well written piece. Thanks for sharing. A lot of the advice is too anal for me, but there are some very good suggestions in there. Bottom line....it's all about consistancy.
  11. Could it be a 642? I believe the 632 is a 327 magnum. It would sure look cool in one of these.
  12. Shooting Times is one of my favorite periodicals. I just renewed my subscription for two years. I don't remember what I paid, but I believe you got a better deal than I did.
  13. I think it was my twelfth birthday, I got a Ruger Single Six with 22 and 22 mag cylinders. It still resides in my safe, and gets shot from time to time.
  14. You're waaaaaay light on revolvers. Theres the k frame smiths, the N frames, and everyone should have some Colt SAAs. I have an itch for a Smith and Wesson 39-2, and as money permits, a model 52. I'm always on the lookout for old N frame revolvers as well. I'd also recommend to everyone to get a GSG 1911 22LR. I've had a ball with mine. Probably the best $300 I've ever spent.
  15. The Goodman show was pretty much a dud. I especially enjoy the a--hole yelling at people to move away from the front door. How was the RK show? Anyone go?
  16. I've shot nothing buy FMJ through mine, and I see no reason to shoot anything else in it. I am in the minority, however. I am more worried about getting penetration from a 380 than expansion. I've shot mine a couple hundred rounds or so, and have yet to have a single malfunction of any kind. It's more accurate than I'd have guessed as well.
  17. SOunds like what I'm looking for. I downloaded it once, and couldn't open it. I'll try it again. Thanks. What's the trick to getting it to open so you can read it?
  18. You're right.
  19. I don't use just one or two brands of powder or bullets. I use what I can get a deal on.
  20. I also just bought a bunch of 257 Roberts brass, and thirty something boxes of assorted bullets. I would like to get creative.
  21. Thanks. I wasn't trying to promote my wares, I was just saying thatI believe good gunleather can't be replaced with Kydex or nylon, and if someone hasn't tried quality leather gear, they don't know what they're missing....regardless of manufacturer.
  22. Thanks. That's the kind of thing I think I'd like to have access to. For example, I have some 240 grain half jacket 44 bullets I think were made by Speer. I've read that you should load them hot to aviod the jacket separating from the bullet and staying in the barrel. I haven't found any load data for them, however. I don't know if it would be the same as any other 240 gr jacket bullet or not.
  23. I've seen several sites like that, and they do contain much valuable information. I was looking for something with a nearly unlimited amount of data without buying an entire library of manuals.

  25. Like loaddata.com or others? What do you think of it?
