  1. If so, what are the chances I could get some sage advice from you? Thanks in advance, Greg.
  2. You hit the nail on the head here, BigK. We don't care what the writer's opinion is; we want facts. The editorial page is for opinions. If more writers would follow Mr. Gee and Mr. Haas' lead, many of the newspapers wouldn't be in the financial strain they currently find themselves in.
  3. "I;d rather be pizzed off than pizzed on." Unkown
  4. No kidding??!!?? WOW! Are you at liberty to share the nature of the incident?
  5. Do yourself a favor and pick up some 38 Spl target loads on the way to the range. You'll thank me later.
  6. DOn't buy a house in a flood plain. Don't buy individual insurance coverage for your guns. Instead, invest that money in a quality safe.
  7. The goal is to change the stupid laws. It sounded to me like you were defending it.
  8. Weiner??!!?? You just can't make this stuff up. Anthony Weiner Twitter Photo Scandal: Congressman Breaks His Silence He is aptly named.
  9. So by your way of thinking, you can justify robbing my children because you were once robbed? Wow!
  10. Count me among the negligible and stupid. Socialism hasn't worked anywhere long term, and it is about to break the U.S. Don't count on the Republican party to do anything more than pay lip service to it, however.
  11. Is sending a SWAT team to serve a narcotics warrant standard procedure? This isn't a trick question; I simply don't know.
  12. Looks like it's drawing plenty of attention. Now we'll have a new, anti reloading faction to deal with.
  13. Kudos to Mr. Gee for a well written, well researched, unbiased article.
  14. Cool story. THanks for sharing. I loved Jr. Samples.
  15. "If you're going to be dumb, you'd better be tough." My son's baseball coach.
  16. 62a's are great rifles. Congratulations on owning a classic. I have one my father had as a child. I love it.
  17. It's a 29-3 or later. Make sure and get the sights if you buy it. It is a shooter; not a collector with holes drilled in it. If you'd like a shooter, and assuming the trigger hasn't been screwed with, $500 would probably be a fair price......BUT ONLY IF YOU GET THE SIGHTS WITH IT!!!!!!
  18. You said it was a Glock? They probably thought you were shoplifting a cordless drill or a hair dryer.
  19. With a "hair trigger" and a scope someone installed? Depending on how the scope was installed, it may or may not be a problem. It certainly sounds like some monkey stoned the internals and didn't have a clue what he was doing. The prices you list are collector prices. Here's what a lot of people don't seem to understand: Collectors don't want a gun bubba has worked on, they want a pristine, factory original gun.
  20. How'd you get it home from the store?
  21. As JC57 said, there ain't enough room in a K frame for a 44 mag round. Sounds like someone has screwed up the hammer, trigger, sear, etc. Since you stated that you "don't know crap about revolvers", my advice would be to leave it alone.
  22. ...and for the price of 3 XD's I could buy 10 Hi Points and some ammo, and have guns I'd be just as proud of as the XDs. Quality costs money. Some people appreciate quality, and some people want the cheapest thing that'll work. Nothing wrong with either train of thought. That's why so many different makes and models are available. It's a good thing.
