  1. Welcome to TGO!
  2. Welcome to TGO. Good riddance to Louisville!
  3. Welcome to TGO!
  4. I think I sold you a 4 wheeler last time you were here. Welcome back!
  5. LOL! Pretty much everything and everyone is racist, no? That must be a miserable existence to only identify with one's skin color.
  6. Rural living is definitely different from urban or suburban living. Most folks prefer what they grew up with. Perhaps you could rent a place on VRBO and get a feel for the place for a week or two. Paris is a nice little town, with an emphasis on little. Murray, Kentucky is a bit larger and not too far away.
  7. It’s pool table flat. There are about 20 people there. It’s near Kentucky Lake. I LOVE that! Your mileage may vary.
  8. My theory is to buy a cheap tool. If I wear that out, break it, or it otherwise doesn’t perform satisfactorily I’ll replace it with a quality tool.
  9. I appreciate the report. My wife is the traveling kind and we’re always looking for new places to check out.
  10. If a man made his living with his tools, I would agree with you. There are a lot of guys like me who just need to put the occasional belt back on a mower or change a fuel filter, and don’t really need $20k worth of tools bouncing around in the truck.
  11. Harbor Freight=cheaper Northern Tool=better quality
  12. That is pretty hard to believe, but I don’t have any data to prove it wrong. It would at least reduce the numbers willing to commit the crime if only by removing them. I do remember when Guiliani was mayor of New York, his administration enacted some pretty tough punishments and their crime numbers went down significantly.
  13. 0000 steel wool then auto wax.
  14. You and I may have different views on what constitutes an extreme penalty. I know it isn’t the Christian way, but I have no use for thieves or anybody who mistreats children or old folks.
  15. I believe the punishment for thievery should be so severe it becomes all but non-existent.
  16. I wish you luck with it. For me, I discovered years ago the phrase "dual purpose" is a myth, whether it be a boat, motorcycle, etc It meant the bike/boat could do two things, both at a mediocre level.
  17. You'd think they'd have figured out a way to twist it to fit their narrative by now. It must be a doozie.
  18. You guys know you can get money for that stuff, right?
  19. We bought a washer and dryer some years back. The guys came and installed the . Wife said that after they left, they came flying back down the driveway, into the laundry room, and looking all around. They told her they’d lost a “tool” and were looking for it. I told her that explained the joint I just found laying in the driveway. I tried to tell her we should burn it before we got caught with it. She flushed it down the toilet.
  20. Transmission? Miles? Clean title?
  21. You make a solid point, sir!
  22. I worked with a big guy. For some reason, he would up with a Sportster. I don’t think he’d ever had a motorcycle before. He looked like a circus bear riding a child’s bicycle.
  23. Most professions aren’t directly screwing with your health and well being.
  24. My Dr. has the personality of a tree stump and wants to see how many pills he can prescribe. I'd swap, but I have no idea who else would be better.
