I loved the one I had, but let a co worker talk me out of it. I'm always on the lookout for a good deal on another.
  2. Is that the only picture you have of the gun?
  3. Do you want it to make waffles and wash windows too?
  4. If you don't mind the recoil or ammo cost, you've picked a winner.
  5. I see. It does sound interesting.
  6. I've got to warn you, however, that it will soon get lonely and need company.
  7. Sounds good. What do you do when it gets dirty?
  8. Now that's really funny! I live in Lafayette, and I'm not even sure where Hamilton county is.
  9. I keep at least a half tank of gas in the tank of all our vehicles. So far, that's always got me back home. I can get by for a good while at the house.
  10. I have a Rock Island I'm very pleased with. I can't honestly imagine a $1000 1911 I'd prefer to shoot, and I've shot some nice ones. Why not give one a try, save your money, and trade up later if it isn't what you want.
  11. Now there's what it's all about! Congratulations.
  12. Women just don't understand comedy....or physics.....or math in general.....or instructions.....or map reading.....uh oh...here she comes!!!!
  13. My wife did not think it was as funny as I did.
  14. I'd be more fearful of my neighbor's meth lab than of a nuclear reactor problem.
  15. We've been shooting bore bees with a K frame 38. I've also shot squirrels with it. They fit my hands well and balance perfectly.
  16. I love mine... ...so much I bought a 642; the stainless steel version of it as well.
  17. Buy outside the city limits unless you just like paying more taxes and dealing with other b.s.
  18. Sounds great! Thanks. I'll have to check it out.
  19. Charles Hall Museum Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I want to go check it out sometime. We're always looking for weekend trips. Could you recommend a good campground as well as anything else of interest to see in the area? I noticed in the story a bridge near there I'd like to see as well.
  20. Very good advice. There are a lot of attractive homes out there that are flooded regularly.
  21. I agree. A bolt rifle in a handgun cartridge doesn't seem right. A nice lever in 357, however, is awesome.
  22. A pancake style holster pulls the pistol close to your body, doesn't print much more than an IWB, and in my opinion is much more comfortable, and eaiser to access.
  23. Those have some collector value. Check gunbroker.com and look under completed auctions to get an idea of their current value. Savage Collectors - 24hourcampfire The guys here would love to get their paws on the Savage ammo......and I'm one of them. http://www.iaaforum.org/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10330 Here's an interesting discussion on Savage brand ammo. I'd consider shooting the Western ammo, but please don't tell me if you fire the Savage ammo!!!
  24. They are very nice, and quite a bargain in my opinion. Mirouku has made most all of Browning's guns for nearly a half century. If you like a Citori, you won't be disappointed with the Winchester offerings.
