  1. What say you?
  2. Yep. Glysophate kills weeds, but you have to mix a bit of Crossbow in it to get the briars, thistles, and small trees. It doesn’t take much.
  3. Based on your criteria, 1)Ford 2)GMC/Chevy (same thing) 3)keep what ya got You’re going to have a tough time finding an 8’ bed on a newer truck. I stand firmly in the no car payment camp.
  4. I surely appreciate all the suggestions. We’ve been fortunate enough to visit some amazing places. Many aren’t real well know. Several of which you guys have turned me on to. Beautiful scenery, historic significance, and no crowds are my criteria. Thanks again, and keep the suggestions coming please! Maybe someone else could benefit as well.
  5. Dang! That ought to be cheap enough.
  6. Haven’t decided where, but I’d tow my boat to either of these places. I have ridden the skyway, or at least part of it.
  7. Lake Fontana in North Carolina has made the list as well if you have any insight in to that. Other suggestions are welcome as well. I have faith in you guys! The trip to Norris Lake last year was awesome if that helps describe what we’re looking for.
  8. We’re planning a trip next month and this made the short list. We’ve never spent any time there so all suggestions are welcome. Wife wouldn’t mind going back to the lost airline baggage store in Scottsboro, and I wouldn’t king catching some fish. Aside from Chattanooga, what else should I see in the area? We’ve been to Lake Guntersville. The upper end is like fishing in a flooded hay field. I’m no opposed to trying the lower end which appears to actually contain water.
  9. Sir, my prayers are still with you.
  10. It’ll continue to get worse until there are consequences for it.
  11. Thanks for the reminder. Anybody put any effort into catching these folks?
  12. It sounds as if you have compression, and you don’t need spark for a diesel, so You should inspect your fuel system from stem to stern. I bet you’ll locate the problem. Partially clogged fuel line, cracked hose, fuel pump, etc.
  13. Naa! Let’s just ban guns.
  14. Patience, grasshopper. Weed through the idiots and he shall be rewarded. You May kiss a deal or two along the way, but you’re less likely to get shafted. A big list of stuff replaced is a minus to me; not a plus.
  15. Wow! Good on you! He has a bright future ahead of him. I never saw a boy get into trouble hunting and fishing.
  16. ^^^excellent advice!^^^
  17. Overall condition is a pretty reliable gauge. Sprockets, chain, wheel bearings, tires, brakes. Are the front forks leaking? Obviously, crank it and take it for a spin. Does it run right? Shift right? Handle bars straight? Smoking? Ain’t much you can hide in a dirt bike. It’s all right out there in the open to see.
  18. Dads are supposed to fix things. It sucks when you know you can’t.
  19. My first computer was a Commodore VIC-20 hooked to a black and white TV. You couldn’t really do anything with it other than tell people you owned a computer.
  20. Friend, all I can offer are prayers. You said folks tell you they understand. I can tell you I don’t have a clue what you’re going through, but I’m certain it’s an unimaginable pain.
  21. I agree, but it’s hard to argue the fact we are definitely an over medicated population.
  22. Name is Greg and I live in Tennessee. A bit anticlimactic I know.
  23. Here’s how I learned the double loop lacing technique. Pretty simple and well explained in this video.
  24. I know of no one who has a problem with LEGAL immigration.
