  1. NEW??!!?? It would be worth a small fortune! I don't believe I've ever seen one in unissued condition.
  2. Move?
  3. My bad. It is cheaper box for box, but you are correct in saying that there are a few more rounds in the 22 Mag box.
  4. He is a goofy, political P.O.S.! I can't believe all of you didn't see this years ago.
  5. This is the first instance I am aware of where a black person was charged with a "hate crime".
  6. I don't recall there ever being a show in Westmoreland in the past. It's a very small town, so I don't know what to expect. It has been very well advertised. I'll be there good or bad.
  7. Very nice package!!!
  8. You can buy 223 ammo cheaper than 22 Mag.
  9. I brought home this old cabinet from the office. They were going to throw it away, as we got a new office with new furniture. It makes a pretty good ammo magazine.
  10. I appreciate everyone taking the time to respond to this thread. I've enjoyed reading all the opinions. I will state that Romney probably won't be quite as bad as Obama. I do believe, however, that as long as people allow the Republican party to foist turds such as Romney upon us, by rewarding them with donations and votes, you will never get an opportunity to vote for a worthy candidate. Sometimes we have to take a bloody nose or two in order to solve a deeper rooted problem. The Democrat party is a lost cause. Right now, there isn't a viable third party. The Republican party is our best hope. In order for them to become conservative, we have to somehow send them a loud and clear message. Politicians aren't willing to freely cede power.
  11. I've had good luck with the site in general, but do not know of the seller you mentioned. I wish they'd institute some sort of a feedback system. I've asked them to do that, but so far, to no avail.
  12. I'm not sure I'm tough enough to wear a pink hat in public.
  13. I love my 1894 Marlin in 44 mag. I imagine one in 357 would be just as good. If I were in the market for one, I'd consider looking for a Marlin. I'd also consider a model 92 Winchester or 92 Browning. I'd only want one of the older, pre safety models.
  14. Reason #15114 why I never go to a shooting range.
  15. How m uch crimp did you apply?
  16. Sure. At least half of what's in there belongs to her. If you don't feel that way, don't get married. If you don't believe it, I'm sure a divorce attorney will be more than happy to prove it to you.

    Ticks

I never had much problem with ticks during bow season. Mosquitos, however, were a major contributing factor in my giving up bowhunting.
  18. I like Patrick Grashorn's work.
  19. I'd vote for a 98 Mauser of some form or fashion. The Swiss rifle would be another very good choice. Also in the running would be an Enfield.
  20. I stand corrected. I misread your post.
  21. It was signed into law August 14, 1935. My wife's grandmother, who was born in 1913, is still sucking it dry.
  22. Killed with 20 guage 870 Remington, full choke, #6 2 3/4" high brass. Killed with 37 Ithaca, 12 guage, mod choke, #5 High brass 2 3/4", Both were killed at 40 plus yards. Turkeys aren't as tough as elephants or water buffalo. Shoot what ya got.
  23. I can place part of the blame on the people drawing social security now. They certain;y didn't put up much of a fight when it was enacted.
  24. I tip my hat to you. I believe you are the first person I've seen who claims not to believe in God that didn't get all pissy and defensive at the mention of God or the Bible.
