I’d love to have a nickel for every time somebody claimed they were cleaning their gun and it went off.

It is small and 1911ish. Both great qualities.

I’m no intellectual giant by any measure, but somehow I’ve made it nearly 50 years with the knowledge coffee should be hot and have somehow refrained from pouring it on my crotch. I expect the same of other adults.

Overalls give me a wedgie and chafe my nipples. Also, I don’t think they look good with Red Wing slip on Pecos boots. Aside from these misgivings, I would wear them religiously.

That’s a little more sophisticated than I would have expected. Sounds like they are beginning to organize.

These protestors are paid and professionally organized, and the media casts them in a positive light. If pro gun folks went to the capitol and protested, the lead news story would be about an armed insurrection. Do you have any idea how many Jan 6 protestors are still sitting in a jail cell and haven’t yet had a trial?

I liked those old Fords too, but the cold hard truth is the new ones have twice the power, burn half the fuel, and are infinitely less maintenance intensive.

I remember taking a buddy to buy a new 89 F-150. He wrote a check for $8900! That was a basic truck. Rubber floor mat. 300 straight 6 and a 5 speed manual transmission.

Now here’s a concern for me! The Ruger LCP works great for pocket carry. Not sure how much bigger I could go and still be comfortable. Thanks for making me think. It would be gray to have more rounds and more pop, but not at the expense of maybe not always having it with me.

I wouldn’t consider $37,300 a “basic truck”, but I’m old.

It would be cool if somebody was still making a basic “truck”.

Safety or no safety?

Could have been at one time. I once an 01 Chevy. My son now has an 06 GMC. Except for the headlights, grille, and a few other cosmetic features, they are the same truck. Same suspension, same engine, same transmission, same interior, etc. One said Chevrolet on the tailgate, one says GMC.
