  1. The only way I see Obama losing is if Romney's tour bus goes off a cliff, and Ryan isn't on it so he is still here to continue the campaign. I've heard Rush Limbaugh say the Elmer Fudd could beat Obama this election. I believe that. It is a shame the Republicans couldn't choose a candidate as electable as Mr. Fudd.
  2. How much new gun control legislation have we seen passed since Obama has been in office? I don't like him any more than you do, but I think it may be a coin toss between the two when it comes to the second amendment.
  3. As I read the law, I believe you can sell them. However, David is the law here, and what he says goes. I personally don't think selling your reloads is a wise idea. Let's assume you've loaded them all perfectly. Some guy buys them, shoots some, and for whatever reason, his gun blows up and he gets injured. Now you're in court defending yourself. Right or wrong, it's a big problem and expense for you.
  4. LOL. I was a part of a funeral procession yesterday. We were on Vietnam Veteran's Parkway. I'll admit I'm a hillbilly, and do not know the proper etiquette for a city funeral procession. Anyway, as we passed an entrance ramp, there was a car entering, so I got over a lane. When the car got on and by me, I pulled back into the lane with the rest of the procession. The guy behind me, who was also part of the procession, laid on his horn and shot me a bird. I thought about confronting him all the way to the gravesite, but decided not to cause a disturbance at a good man's funeral. There are indeed a-holes among us.
  5. Still a great load. Is there a reason you'd want to change? Welcome to the forum, by the way.
  6. You guys say $650 was too much for a piecemeal gun. What does one bring nowadays? An original Comlt seems to be $1k and up. I'm not sure he got burned too bad for a decent shooter.
  7. This one's been lying on my bench for quite a while. With all the rainy weather this past holiday weekend, I finally got a chance to finish it. The handles are linen micarta.
  8. The one that matters was granted by the church.
  9. Because marriage is: A RELIGIOUS UNION BETWEEN ONE WOMAN and ONE MAN!!!!! You can't marry a chicken, a tractor, 4 cub scouts, or a can of nightcrawlers. A man also cannot marry a man, nor a woman a woman. Why is this so hard to comprehend?
  10. Not a coyote. Looks like a German Shepherd or Shepherd or Husky/Wolf mixture. I can't tell a lot from the picture, but it's legs are way too long for a coyote.
  11. Can't get married? The definition of marriage is a union between one man and one woman. I am unaware of any law that prevents a gay man from marrying a woman. As far as I know, he's legally able to marry a gay woman! As far as two dudes marrying each other, that isn't what marriage is. Can three people marry? Can you marry your goat? What needs to happen is for the government to quit offering tax incentives for crap such as this. A married guy and a single guy should pay the same tax on the same income. The same could be said for deductions for children, mortgage interest, etc.
  12. What rights do gays not have already?
  13. I wish Clint was running for president!
  14. I share a birth year with the one pictured above; 1973.
  15. I'll toss in a couple more.
  16. Just a plain ole WASR.
  17. My potatoes were good sized this year, but not nearly as many of them as normal. I dug mine with a boring old tractor. Good pictures! Thanks for sharing.
  18. The round is referred to as the "9MM Luger" for a reason.
  19. Absolutely! I'd be excited to own it as well. Please do not attempt to refinish it. I'd keep it clean, shoot it, and enjoy a great piece of history. Several companies build reproductions of John Browning's "Low Wall" Winchester. That alone is a testament to the quality, workmanship, and sound design of the gun.
  20. Thanks for the pics. That is a cool rifle! It is a shame someone didn't take better care of it. I'm guessing it would bring close to a grand in it's condition, assuming the bore is good and nothing is broken. The pics don't show an 80% rifle, but do show an original gun with quite a bit of honest wear and poor storage.
  21. Sir, Please do not think I am disrespecting you in any way. I do not know you. I am only being honest in an attempt that you may look at this from your neighbor's point of view. Judging only from what I've read, I see the possibility that there are two people who are difficult to get along with who live next to each other. One is you. You aren't the first to deal with such.
  22. Sir, We also take off our hats when a funeral procession passes, as well as for the singing of the National Anthem.
  23. LOL! You'll save youself a lot of headache if you do like most Tennesseans and forget that newspaper exists. Reread the article, and every time you get to the word "white", replace it with black, asian, hispanic, etc., and ask yourself if they'd have published the story. The author must have overlooked this recent story, and many more like it. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/africa/2012/08/2012816141649568598.html
  24. If Christopher Walken were having a conversation with an empty chair, I'd think nothing of it. It seemed out of character for Clint.
