I voted on my lunch break. There was one guy in front of me.

This will help explain him. Technically, he was in the right, but it took great restraint to refrain from beating him severly.
Hey Greg, you gonna be making those for other firearms? I might want one for a 1911. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Yup! Right now they are buy one, get one free.
Hey, can I Turn your child over my knee, and spank him/her?
If they need it and I'm not there to administer it, I would be upset to find out you didn't. If I can't discipline your child as needed, they aren't welcome in my home. I also don't want them around me anywhere else.

How many guns before you are hoarding them?
gregintenn replied to walton6467's topic in General Chat
Can you explain the difference in hoarding, accumulating, collecting, investing, and speculating? How many dollars does one need before they are hoarding? Who's business is it how many guns you have? -
Once you start off spanking youll prob stick with it much like people who smoke. You cant spank then do timeouts and expect them to work. I still stick with spanking is just being lazy no matter what anyone says. We started timeouts and taking away toys with our kid since she was 6 months old. She is 6 now and is very resonable and kind, she knows right from wrong. She is pretty politicaly correct for her age. She is a calm kid compared to hyper 6 year olds like I was. We havent gotten on to her in weeks. She beside me now playing Angry Birds. You dont have to spank, but if its something the parents fill they must bring out of their bag of parenting skills, then so be it. Just remember kids do as they see and hear.
Your children do not share my DNA; mind do. Since they are akin to me, they require the occasional rap to the hind quarters to stay in line just as I did. I grew up in a different time and place than we have now. I once spanked another person's child, and didn't know the child OR the parent. I was shooting pool in a country store with a friend, when a little boy came in, grabbed a handful of talcum powder, and threw it all over me. I turned him over my knee and spanked his rear end. If the mother objected, she never said anything. I might have done the same to her had she objected. Children who aren't disciplined often turn out to be the sort of adults who have screwed this once great country up!

My oldest son and I hunted yesterday morning and this morning. We saw several, but nothing worth taking. My father showed up yesterday with a giant 6 point buck. It had heavy beams, a good spread, long tines and all; just 6 points. It field dressed 165! He said he'd like sausage made from it, so I spent yesterday afternoon and this afternoon working on it for him. Maybe we'll shoot some for jerky next weekend.

I dog public school and teachers all the time, but I will sat that the teacher on the playground and the school nurse. took really good care of him and did a great job splinting the arm. Kudos to them. They deserve it.

Sam1, by the looks of your x-ray, you should be an authority on it yourself. I see some old breaks healed there as well as the new break and the metal.

TGO Prez Poll Results & Last Predictions
gregintenn replied to Oh Shoot's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I think Ron Paul will squeak out a win with a last minute write in campaign. -
Yeah. He's pretty funny anyway. Lortab makes a commedian out of him.
-
Yeah...no pins plates, cutting on him or anything.
-
He's doing great. They put him to sleep and set the breaks and put in cast. You always hear bad things about the medical community, so here's something different: Everyone wet met at Sumner Regional Medical Center were very kind, helpful, professional, and went out of their way to comfort him and answer all questions to assure he wasn't any more scared than necessary.

It hurts to look at that! I can't imagine how it didn't hurt.
I fell sorry for folks that think they are doing good by employing violence. What do you think you are teaching by hitting another human. Never hit children. Never hit anyone unless it's for self defence.
I have no idea whether or not you are a Christian. If you are, how do you intrepret Proverbs 13:24 "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."?

Sounds like there IS more to the story. Let your conscience be your guide. You see and hear a lot more than you could post on an internet forum.
I'm thinking long range (>200 yds) air rifle.
Interesting concept. Did you ever read about the air rifle or Lewis and Clark expedition? http://www.lewisandclarktrail.com/lewisairgun.htm

rusted/stuck firing pin and breech plug

Most auto parts houses should have it. -
Unless there's more to it than you've posted, I'd suggest you keep quiet and let her be a good parent. Discipline is a part of that.
Weird thing is, when those specific bones break, it hardly hurts at all Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
I broken one arm once and the other twice....hurt like hell when I did it. He has surgery at 2pm today. They call it surgery, but I believe they will sedate him and set the bones, most likely without actually cutting them. The surgeon is a nice guy. He also was a surgeon for the Air Force in Afghanistan.
-
No. He's home. He's 9 years old, and I'm amazed at how well he's taken it. Actually, he's broken that arm before several years ago. He IS his mother's boy!
-
....to pick up my youngest son immediately. Here's what the problem was. As I understand it, he fell off some sort of playground equipment. We meet with an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow. At least it isn't baseball season!

I guess I do have a problem.....but I like it! I consider it being a custodian of history for future generations.
