1.
Ya think? This is one of my favorites... Its generally rude but not "adult" so you were warned if you click! http://dontevenreply...ew.php?post=104
Thanks for sharing that site! I'm setting here in tears reading the email exchanges there. Funniest stuff I've seen in some time.
2. Prices were inflated, and shelves were bare save for a few boxes of bird shot. I recall one guy at the Nashville gunshow selling 380 ammo for $100 per box. I vowed to never buy anything from that jerk then or ever.

Good scope?

Assuming it is a 1" tube, and an older Denver made Redfield, you have a fine scope.
4. Are you getting a group, or just firing one shot? I'd shoot three and check the group size. I'd first look at the scope mount, and if it is secure, I'd suspect the scope.
5. You can find about any type climate or terrain you'd like. West Tennessee is flat as a good billiards table, Middle Tennessee is rolling hills, while Mountains dominate East Tennessee. Beautiful lakes and rivers, an abundance of wildlife, and ever changing weather make Tennessee about as tolerable as anywhere I've been.
6. try a piece of 0000 steel, or if you can find it, brass wool, with oil. Mag wheel polish will remove any swirls or unsightly marks.
7. Maybe he just wanted everyone to know he was tapping the biographer. She is a quite attractive woman.
8. Can the Commodores get a little respect now? That was a helluva a game tonight!!!
9. Gonna be some very interesting times the next couple of years.
10.
Fair enough, I see why you would feel that way. I would like to know what exactly Romney said that led the NRA to endorse him.
You can find an interview in a past issue of The Rifleman. Two or three month back I think. He answered the standard questionaire to their pleasing, and he gets a pass. It is simple as that.
11.
If you're gonna quote my logic, try reading my post. The NRA vetted him. If the NRA were to meet with Obama and endorse him, I would probably believe them. FAT chance of that happening.
The NRA vetts almost anyone with an R behind their name. The truth is that Romney took his pro gun stance in a feeble attempt to garner some votes. He is simply an opportunist, and that my friend is why he isn't President Elect.

Santa brought my son a Colt/Umerex M4 carbine in 22lr for Christmas last year. It shoots great and looks good, but I don't like the way it is made. The barrel consists of a very thin inner barrel with a fake outer cover to mimic the profile of a real M4. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy a Smith and Wesson.
13.
Current 336 A or W is about $400 out the door, the 336 is more, only difference is walnut stock vs. birch. Andy's is walnut and would have nicer bluing than any of those in last 10 years or so also. It's a fine buy on a fine rifle. - OS
...AND NO SAFETY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14. Bet he comes home empty.
15. Someone tell me why the U.S. House, which writes the budget, couldn't simply submit a budget that doesn't fund ObamaCare? He won't sign it, the Senate probably won't pass it, but I feel the House should pass it and stick to it.
16. I was mowing leaves about an hour ago, and when I quit to get a drink, my kids asked if I hit the house with the mower. They said the house shook for a moment. Guess that was it. We are quite a ways from Whitesburg Kentucky, or Knoxville for that matter. Will be interesting to see who else felt it.
17. Where are the leaders of this caliber today?
18. The comments below that story are much better journalism than the story ittself. Very entertaining. Thanks for sharing.
19. Hi cap mags will be the first thing to go, so I'd stock up on all of them I wanted pretty quickly.
20.
Yeah...you'll keep being ignored. You will NEVER get the perfect candidate....let me repeat that...YOU WILL NEVER GET THE PERFECT CANDIDATE. Your "third-party" vote will always be wasted and will never give you the results you claim you want. But that's okay...you can ignore me and everyone who doesn't agree with you and keep doing what you are doing...maybe one day you will get that chocolate cake our of the oven.
I expect I will continue to be ignored; just as the Republicn party will keep trying to foist turds upon us, and keep losing. Sounds like neither of us are gaining any ground, huh? Isn't it great we all get to vote?
21. Yes it was a great buy; especially right before deer season. Twice the money wouldn't buy a better quality rifle.
22.
Wow am I tired of hearing that "we had a choice of two liberals"...I swear if GW himself were alive and running and not "conservative" enough for someone they would chime in with that statement. I'd take a TRUE and COMPLETE liberal of either party any day, who has morals, values and who actually likes the country, over anyone of any party without those attributes.
All I'm looking for is someone who intends to adhere to the U.S. Constitution in which they are sworn to defend. That isn't too much to ask. If that candidate isn't Dem or Rep, then they won't get my vote. There are several other people out there who feel the same. We are, however, not the majority, so third party is the only way to have our voices heard at all. Keep ignoring us, and keep losing elections.
23. Third party voters didn't beat Romney. We had the choice of two liberals. Romney beat himself. You do realize he got his butt kicked in his home state as well as Ryan's home state, right? If we're going to have a lib president, I don't know why anyone would prefer a lib Republican over a lib Democrat. At least the Dem isn't trying to pretend he is something he isn't.
24. Republicans running a liberal candidate didn't work in 2008, or yesterday. I guess they'll try it again in 4 years.
25. Dixville Notch sounds lik a nice place to live.
