1. I'm getting a list together to place an order, and thinking about adding some 380 reloading dies, brass, bullets, etc. to it. Seems like it would be more beneficial and cost effective than loading 9mm, which I currently do. However, the 9mm is small enough I find it sort of a pain to work with. I know the 380 will be worse. Let's here your thoughts.
2.
When in to DMV in Johnson CityThurday I had received my renewal in the mail,But had to complete a form there could not use the renewal form. Said would take about 3 months, get it in the mail, mine expires in Feb. Sure take along time, why not like my car plates!
Why couldn't you use the form you got in the mail?

Male Logic

What's funny?
4.
One realistic and achievable change would be the various states convening a Constitutional Convention to repeal the 16th Amendement. With no income tax, the Federal Government would be cut off from one of its most intrusive sources of money. Repealing the Federal Income Tax would significantly strangle the power of the Federal Government. It would have to be replaced with significantly higher State Income Taxes or other sources of revenue, but it would also make the Federal Government accountable to the States. This one change, over which the Federal Government has no control whatsoever, would rapidly re-establish the 10th Amendment Sovereignty of the various States. The States decide to convene a Constitutional Convention and accoring to the Constitution, the Federal Government has no role. I'd rather petition for a Redress of Grievances to Nashville than to Washington D.C. At the very least, we can stand on the grounds of Legislative Plaza and the State Capitol and bully our legislators in person. The Sixteenth Amendment (Amendment XVI) to the United States Constitution allows the Congress to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the states or basing it on Census results. This amendment exempted income taxes from the constitutional requirements regarding direct taxes, after income taxes on rents, dividends, and interest were ruled to be direct taxes in Pollock v. Farmers' Loan & Trust Co. (1895). http://en.wikipedia....es_Constitution
Your proposal makes a lot more sense than seccession petitions.
5. I can't think of any aspect of your life that couldn't be controlled under the auspice of "protecting the public's health." This was thought I had the very first time I heard about National Healthcare.
6.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

ObamaCare would be the most glaring example. There are countless examples of other tent amendment violations that go on in perpituity, that were enacted before Obama, but continue to grow and thrive. Dept of Education, Homeland Security, FEMA, EPA, DHS, etc. If you actually read the constitution, the Federal Government is ennumerated very few and specific powers. As I see it, these include National Defense, Post Office, the Mint, Federal Law Enforcement and Courts, and probably a few more I'm forgetting.
7.
I would love to have a cowboy gun for nothing more than a range toy. My problem is that I want my copy of a SAA to be DA. Unfortunately the only manufacturers that do that are foreign; so not an option for me. I keep hoping Ruger will do the Vaquero in DA, but I’m not holding my breath because I’m sure they would take a lot of heat.
Original Colt Thunderers and Lightnings can still be found at not too astromonical prices.
8. What are these states going to do if the Obama admin responds to these petitions by saying "Don't let the door hit you in the rear!". Texas might have an outside shot of making it independantly, if they can successfully defend an occupation effort from Mexico. The other states are too dependant, and would starve out in short order. Let's pretend Tennessee becomes it's own sovereign country. Then what? We are landlocked. Where are we going to get fuel, and where's it gonna come from? What if China decides to occupy us? There are millions of reasons this wouldn't fly.
9. Very good!!!!
10. The blue/casehardened one is a second gen 45 Colt, and the nickel is a 22/22 mag Frontier scout. To be honest, I'm not sure you are getting much more except the name when you buy Colt over Uberti, Cimmaron, etc. for shooting. My father has an 357 mag SAA clone made in Italy. I'm not sure of the brand, but it is a tack driver.
11. Nothing wrong with single actions!!!
12. If she really loved you, she'd get a Colt or one of these:http://www.usfasingleactions.com/
13.
We work collectively to prevent terrorism, secure borders, enforce and administer immigration laws, safeguard cyberspace and ensure resilience to disasters.
When did all this start??!!??!? Not sure about the resilience to disasters or safeguarding cyberspace, but I'm pretty sure we currently don't give a damn about the first three.
14. Gotcha. Good advice.
15. I got out of high school and got a full time job, so I decided I needed a new truck. I asked my father to cosign for me. He said if I couldn't get it on my own, I couldn't afford it. Best thing he could have done for me at the time.
16. He gave a fairly good answer. He should have said "It's mine by God, and I'll wear it as I please!"
17. If FEMA can't manage this any better than anything else it does, we have little to fear from it.
18. Thanks for posting. I try to spend a fair amount of time undoing the silly cr@p drilled into my childrens' heads at school. Your post encourages me to redouble my efforts.
19.
I want something badass.
Sorta hard to do that with a 22, huh?
20.
True. But if they come after me its on.
I wasn't referring to your self defense; that IS your job. I took it by your post that they asked you to catch the guys. That is what I'd call their job.
21.
"everywhere is better than Memphis".
Should be the state motto!
22.
The cops told me to "take care of them" and to call if I catch them.
I'm not real bright, but isn't that their job?
23. That would carry and handle about like a Hipoint.
24. You'd be hard pressed to make a wrong desicion between the two. As others suggested, go somewhere and rent one of each and shoot em. You'll know after that.
25. All the above methods should result in the same answer, which in the op's case is, GREAT SHOOTING!!!!
