  1. I like reloading better and better all the time.
  2. Well, a quick peek at gunbroker reveals he ain't far out of line. :stunned:
  3. I'm good, but always looking to replenish stock of what I've reloaded since the weather's been nasty.
  4. 50 cents a round and $20-$30 for the mag.   I'd wave three bills under his nose and see what happened.
  5. It's in the title....Lebanon Gun Shop.
  6. I'm using a chamfer tool. I'm not in a big hurry, however. Just killing time until better weather.
  7. It depends on what you have and what they have. I'd gladly trade Wolf or Tula 7.62x39 2 for 1 for 556 American Eagle or the like. I wouldn't, however, trade 1 for 1 my Lapua or Norinco 7.62x39.
  8.   I picked up a few of those as well. They work great. I don't have any Pmags to compare them to.
  9.   If it were a no primer situation, I would have happily bought them. Due to bad weather, I've reloaded a lot lately, and was just looking to restock a bit. I still have more.   I've learned that if you keep a stock of supplies on hand, and replenish it as you use it, these times are aggravations rather than emergencies.   I'm afraid I'm turning into a grumpy old fart. Yesterday, paypal declined a purchase I was going to make, stating I'd reached my sending limit and needed to get verified. Well, that entails giving them access to my bank account, which I'm not about to do.   Things are changing, and I just don't like change.
  10. You all do make good points.
  11. I had one of those in a former truck years ago. It worked great. I forgot all about them. Had one of these once as well. It will ruin a wood stock if a gun is kept in it long term. Also rattles.
  12.   5-100 round packs. I'm with you. A box of 1000 is the very least I would drive to the store to purchase.
  13. I think I'm happier aimlessly accumulating rather than trying to plan for any "collection".
  14. I find flannel makes better patches than t shirt material. Don't throw away mama's old pj's; cut them into patches!
  15.   I'm just hard headed I guess. $4.29 per hundred isn't exactly a steal, but I consider it reasonable for the times.   Those little trays don't stack for storage very well. The boxes do.
  16. I bought a Lee Anniversary kit nearly 20 years ago, with the idea of upgrading once money permitted. So far, the money situation has improved, but I haven't found a need for the upgrade. Just because Lee stuff is cheaper doesn't make it junk.   I'd buy Lee dies, even if all the brands were the same price. I like the way the lock rings work better.
  17. I've no gripe about limits either. It does seem that 1000 would be a much more logical number than 500 for primers, however.
  18. I stopped at this store today, and of course they were all but out of powder, bullets, etc. What I did see was a large stack of CCI 400 primers. I asked to purchase 1000, and the lady told me she'd only sell me 500. WTF??!! They come in a box of 1000. It wasn't like I was trying to buy them out of stock. I left without buying anything. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back or not. It is their store, and they can operate it any way they see fit, but to me, that defies logic.
  19. I was thinking about getting one of these myself.                                                                           http://www.walmart.com/ip/Seat-Back-Gun-Case-in-Black/8283571
  20.                                            http://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve   Here's a wealth of information.
  21. Most reloading manuals have a pretty extensive description of the whole process. Modern Reloading by Richard Lee is great at explaining the process in detail, yet easy to follow. It's reloading data, however, could be more extensive. A google search will show several free reloading guides via PDF files.   Also, feel free to ask questions here. Were you closer, I would be happy to have you over and walk through the process with you. I expect there are many youtube videos as well.
  22. I think pre 82 pennies would be a better place to place your efforts if you are so inclined.                                        http://www.parkpennies.com/penny/penny.htm   There is 145 pennies per pound, and they are 95% copper. The spot price for copper is $3.4805 per pound. 3.4805x.95=$3.30 per pound of pennies. The zinc spot price would be neglegible. This makes the pre 82 penny worth roughly 2.2 cents; twice it's legal tender value.
  23. What happens to a Glock after 4 years? Do they melt? I do not care for them simply because the are hideous looking, but one thing I've never heard about them is that they were unreliable.
