  1. I would like one. I don't know what I would do with it, but I'm pretty sure I want one. :pleased:
  2. Same here. I'd probably swap a cherry 30-30 for it, then you could find ammunition most anywhere.
  3. I voted for the Democrat, Mark E. Clayton, who ran against Corker in 2012. I assure you that although he's a certifiable nut, he's more conservative both Corker and Alexander. I believe with all my heart he would have voted differently today, and would have better represented us than what we currently have.
  4. Will do!
  5. Cool! Something else to pizz away ammunition no one can find or afford. :ugh:
  6. Saturday is baseball. We may try to get down there on Sunday. We've never been to a re enactment, and always wanted to see one. We did attend the 150th anniversary of the battle of Stones River, and really enjoyed that. Thanks for letting us know about this!
  7. To all of you who voted for these clowns simply because they had an "R" beside their name......HERE'S YOUR SIGN!!!!
  8. I know nothing about combat, but magazines loaded with ammunition take up less space than empty ones with ammunition stored separately. Also makes for one less thing to do before you go out and shoot.
  9.                                                        http://www.ows-ammo.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=0&products_id=257
  10. Me neither. I was sorta hoping you'd give it a try and report back to us. :D
  11. If regulating doesn't work, we could always wage war against it. How long has "the war on poverty" been going on? We should just make poverty illegal. Kind of a circle we go around, huh?
  12. ...or they could just ban crime.
  13. Sounds like the kid wasn't taught not to bother a firearm without permission. Very tragic situation no matter what.
  14. Bingo! I have them from several different manufacturers, some plastic, some steel, and every last one feeds reliably. I guess it depends on what you want from a magazine, but that's all I'm looking for.
  15. I wonder if a hollow based 9mm bullet would work in a 357. I don't know how hot you'd need to load it to blow the skirt out enough to get a good seal.   Did you have a hard time getting the lead out of your barrel and forcing cone?
  16. :stunned: That is criminal, no?
  17. Does Midsouth Shooter's Supply have a storefront? If so, where is it?
  18. Don't get me wrong; everyone there has always been polite, professional, and helpful.   I understand they can charge more than mail order competition because of convenience, the fact of having something right now instead of waiting for it to be shipped, and shipping charges.   I have a limit on how much that is worth, and they've always teetered on that edge. That is a mark of a good businessman. I just feel that for me, they've recently crossed that line. I don't expect all of you to feel the same way.   LOL! If I get hacked off at Gamaliel Shooting Supply, I don't know where else I'll get powder and primers. Maybe the occasional trip to the gun show to see David.
  19. Loan? So you're going to bring it back when you're finished with it?
  20. Well, it IS the ammunition and reloading thread.......and there ain't any......so, you start!
  21. Cup and core bullets work fine. Also, a magnum anything is overkill, in my opinion. They just ain't that tough.
  22. I've never used a chronograph. Goo thing...I always thought you were supposed to shoot above them.
  23. Light target loads=Bullseye   Mid range loads=Unique   All out Magnum loads=2400     This has been a public service announcement from Lafayette, Tennessee.   The end. :tough:
  24. I'm hacked off about the push for gun control.   Start messing with our money, and my wife will be locked and loaded. :stick:
