Me too. I have ammo for 308 Win and 22 Hornet, and nothing to shoot it in. Also have 22-250 dies with no gun so chambered. It won't always be that way, however. :up:

You're looking at it all wrong. You buy the ammo, and that gives you a valid reason to buy something to shoot it in.

Anytime I post something like this, I get called a cop basher. They work really hard and are ultra brave; heck, being a hero works up quite the appetite.

From a money perspective, I think you would get a better return on investment with a classic Colt....or 2.....or 3, but if it trips your trigger, I say "GO FOR IT!"

May I suggest you pay particular attention to the lay of the land around the house. I'm sick of dealing with people who built or bought a house in a hole, and for some reason, believe I am responsible for water running downhill when they flood. They've a decent price on tins of 7.62x39 as well. It shows "in stock". Maybe things are loosening up a bit.

It will go "bang!"   It is not benchrest target ammunition.   I believe it is of Israeli manufacture.

Did you ever consider that is precisely why original mausers are becomming moer expensive? If you collect them, it makes yours worth a bit more each time someone makes a deer rifle out of theirs.

Guess I got lucky too. As much as I like shooting the WASR, I probably couldn't handle an original Norinco!
