1. Seriously, I intend to build mine in the general profile of an M16. This sight seems to have most of the parts I will need.                  http://shop.ar15sport.ihoststores.com/category_v3.aspx?categoryID=76   If any of you have know anything about this site, or have any better suggestions for places to find what I need, I would really appreciate your help.
2. My oldest boy killed a small 6 pointer this morning. It field dressed 126 lbs. Yesterday, he passed on several does and a couple of coyotes. We haven't seen anything good as of yet. :wall: The pic isn't sideways on photobucket!!! What am I doing wrong?
3. Way to go. Hunting is some of the best times I've spent with my kids.
4. My Citori has had untold thousands of rounds fired through it. This year, I finally took it apart and gave it a good cleaning. It still locks up tight as new, and shoots as good as ever. A bit of blueing wear and a couple of small dings are all the wear it shows.
5. Give me the Citori! A shotgun should have two barrels.
6. Halloween hangovers. :puke:
7. 380 and 25 auto are just too small for me to get interested in loading. 32-20, 9mm, and 218 Bee are fairly tedious to hold onto.
8. Like I said, I intend to keep it simple.
9. I may just go with something simple like this.
10. Tennessee isn't all city, and some of us spend time at places other than Starbucks or Walmart.
11. LOL! You probably can't sell the Carcano for enough to buy a box of ammunition for it.....Trust me, I have one.     I'm not calling your rifle cheap; I'm saying the ammo is EXPENSIVE!!!
12. Cavuto for president! :usa:
13. Hope it didn't bite you!
14. I bought a Williams Foolproof aperture rear sight for mine, and left the factory front sight in place. This works well for me.   I do not care for fiber optic sights, and certainly not on a classic lever gun.
15. I regularly carry an LCP. I prefer to carry FMJ ammo in it, They are great guns for their intended purpose.
16. You are entitled to your opinion. It isn't against the law to come to my table at a restaurant and fart while I'm eating, but it wouldn't be the prudent thing to do either.   Eric, I don't think you are old enough to remember when parents actually taught children manners, etiquette, right and wrong, and a basic respect for their fellow humans. Most things didn't need to be illegal for us to know we shouldn't do them. Sadly, it appears that time has passed.
17. Works good for plinking loads, but 2400 or 296/110 for ear splitting, hand cramping full house magnum loads.   I like Bullseye for very light loads in 44 mag as well.
18. WTF? I thought he was on the Obama cheering squad.
19. H110/W296 and 2400 are the standard bearers for magnum revolver loads.
20. It happens. Don't beat yourself up over it. Learn from it, and thanks for sharing so we might learn from it as well.
21. I had no idea it was illegal to carry a long gun. Where would one find the exception in the law for hunting?
22. I hope they are just waiting until the last minute to order. That just sucks if not. Heck, I just had to put a $1500 set of heads on my truck, but I said I'd buy one, and doggone it, I'm buying one!
23. I-65 south of Nashville is literally paved with them.
24. Fill it with ice and beer and have the greatest block party in the history of the world!
25.                                     http://www.diamonddcustomleather.com/Chest_Holsters.php   Something like this?   An Anaconda isn't a rare firearm, so a lot of custom holster makers will still make holsters for them. You probably aren't going to find one at your local sporting goods store, however. You could try one made for a 6" Smith and Wesson N frame. I expect they are very close in size.   A quality custom made leather holster will cost you, but if you carry it much, it'll be worth every penny.
