1. LOL! I've tried to like them, but I'm still a lever or bolt action guy at heart. I guess I was born a century or so too late.
2. What do you suggest for the sling?   I don't recall the brand of several parts, but the barrel is a 20" Yankee hill. I believe the flash hider and gas block are Yankee hill as well. The stock is a fixed Magpul MOE. A 15" Midwest Industries handguard, A.R.M. back up sights, a lower parts kit from byedan here on the forum are all I'm sure about. The ambi safety might have been from Rock River Arms, but I'm not sure. The rest are just odd and end parts I picked up here and there along the way.   Of course you know where the upper, lower, and bolt carrier group came from (CMT).
3. Just what I was about to ask. Not much recoil with that one, huh?
4. I topped mine off with a 3-9 Leupold compact and a set of P Series mounts, and a sling from WalMart. Unless I decide to upgrade the trigger at some point, I think I'm finished with mine.
5. What would you be gaining from doing away with the grease grooves?
6. I'm glad it's just 22 ammo and not food, gasoline, or toilet paper. I'm afraid that's coming.
7. I expect you'll have to build your own. A Martini action would be neat.
8. Heck, the steel stuff shoots pretty good in my guns. I'd pay extra to get reloadable brass.
9. Well shoot some of it and give us a report! :D
10. Anybody here try it yet? I see some good prices and reviews. Is there any available locally? I'd like to try some before ordering a case or three.
11. Model 10 or something similar. A K frame 38 Special.
12.  http://www.fega.com/memberwebpages/Masterpage1.asp   I'd start here.
13. That is a very nice gesture. Thanks for the offer.   I've been stoning and polishing on the sear and hammer a bit, and it might be some better than it was when I started. I think I'll tinker with it some more first.   You were correct. That hammer spring is strong! I had to chase down parts the first time I took it apart. Maybe I've got it figured out now. I just don't want to remove too much metal, so I'm going at it a little at a time.
14. I gave away a couple of Dolomite's trigger improvement kits so far. I've also got a friend who just bought an AR some magazines and ammo.
15. I'm usually a do it yourself sort of guy. What do you charge for a trigger job?
16. If so, I'd like to hear your experience and any tips you may have. I have a Norinco, and although it is a great rifle, the trigger is as bad as any I've ever seen on any gun. There are many tutorials on the web to do it, but many have conflicting information.
17. Yes. That's the only way I can test the accuracy of a rifle. I can't shoot that sort of groups prone, let alone from any other position.   I am an average shot at best. I need all the help I can get. Sandbags and a solid bench make a good shot out of anyone who can see and squeeze a trigger.
18. Mags and more ammo!   Oh yeah, and maybe a sling.
19. Looks like new in the pic. Congratulations.
20. Why do you think I have a dog and a wife?
21. Yes, actually, that IS what I 'd like.
22. Hey! I finally got my scope mounts, so yesterday I sighted mine in, and even in the howling wind, with cheap bulk bullets, I was getting consistent 1" 100 yard groups. I am interested in working up an accuracy load with good bullets and seeing what it will do in calm conditions. Although it's ugly, I'm pleased with how mine turned out for a first attempt. Thanks to everyone who offered help and advice.
23. I'm impressed with all of you guys. I never would have guessed this would have went 17 pages without being locked and someone getting banned. Hang in there guys!
24. I think GQ magazine was the big winner in all this. Until this week, I had no idea it was even still in publication. I can't imagine how many copies they sold with this issue, but it surely will be a record.
25. My wife's learned to live with it. Spend some time with her, keep all the bills paid, and treat her to something nice once and a while, and she'll get used to it as well.
