  1. I'd like to get up there around Knoxville one of these days and meet several of the forum members. Gordon and his wife are among them. :usa:
  2. wrong thread. sorry.
  3. Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but after today's weird game, I'd like to once again say "Wat To Go 'DORES!!!"
  4. LOL! Yeah, those new fangled inventions from the start of the twentieth century just won't cut it!   30-30 introduced 1895 30-06 first released as 30-03 in 1903, and improved in 1906.
  5. You have more patience than I.
  6. A Garand is one rifle I've yet to own. Yours looks like a nice one, and quite accurate to boot. Congratulations.
  7. I meant the guy who started the thread. I'm not sure he'll be around long.
  8. Shall we also send ssn numbers, addresses, and a list of guns we own?
  9.                             http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/74405-uniting-in-intent-and-purpose/
  10. I understand where you are coming from now. Thanks. I stille don't believe that's the route I'll go, but I do appreciate everyone's opinions. It can never hurt to learn.
  11. Now that's how the lady felt when she gave you the money. She did herself, you, and the elderly couple all a great favor. No telling what he'll do to pay it forward. I like the idea.
  12. I was once in there with my kids, and as we got in the speedy checkout lane, I had something like an oil filter and a bag of apples, my youngest son was insistent that we count the apples to make sure we weren't in violation of the 10 items or less.
  13. Why do you think the second amendment exists?
  14. Late nights and very early mornings are the best times to go here. The late night crowd that is there, while relatively few in number, are indeed an interesting spectacle to behold! :stunned:
  15. So you and I are on the same side of the fence on this one.
  16. I disagree. Most will turn them in.
  17. So if you guys woke up this morning with a free and clear deed to your house in your hand, you're telling me you'd take it down to the mortgage office and borrow all you can against it? Really??!!?
  18. Somebody shoot us a group with one already! :x:
  19. That's what makes it cheap. Everything is a trade off.
  20. Thanks,. I've never been in one. I'll have to check it out!
  21. I knew you guys were good for another thread! 32 checkout lanes and only two open. What's up with that?   We can get nearly anything known to man at the cheapest price, ten minutes from nearly anywhere, 27 hours a day, 7 days a week, and still b1tch about it.   I love this country! :usa:
  22. One of the hardest things I've learned to do as an adult is to graciously accept a gift from someone.   You know that good feeling you get from giving something or doing something special for them? Well, you are denying someone that same feeling when you don't accept their gift.
  23. I got nothing! :ugh: It's just been a few days since we had a good ole Wal Mart trashing thread.   Happy New Year!!!!
  24. The first CD I bought when I was a kid had an interest rate of 10.55%. I thought that was great (and turns out it was), and I also thought it would always be that way.
