1. I see. I've always liked the Lee rings because you didn't need tools to adjust them. If you install and remove the die by turning the ring, and not just the die, they stay in adjustment for me. I'll have to take a closer look at the Hornady rings.     http://www.midwayusa.com/product/1165236200/hornady-sure-loc-die-locking-ring-7-8-14-thread Same principle as the Lyman or RCBS rings.
2. Thanks for the tip. I've spent a fortune with them over the years; all without a discount code.
3. So do the Lee lock rings, or any lock rings for that matter. Right?
4. If you could qualify health wise, a cheaper option would be a TERM life insurance policy. I have a 30 year term policy for 250k, and it's twenty something bucks a month.
5. Looks like some good prices here as well.
6.                           http://www.bulkammo.com/rifle/bulk-.223-ammo#contest You can't win if you don't enter!
7. Oops! I thought you had to have the sleeve on the die. I didn't think about leaving one in the press. If I did that, however, I wouldn't really have gained anything. Oh well. i'm accustomed to screwing dies in a press. It isn't a big deal. This one has an insert you can remove to use larger body dies, although I've never seen but one size die body.   I added up all the dies I have, and looked at the price for the quick lock sleeves, and decided not to go that route.   It will take a while to get my dies readjusted for the new press.
8. Regular. I swap dies too often, and have too many dies for the breech lock to make sense.
9. I'm not seeing anything breakable on this one. I think my bench will come apart first.
10. LOL! Your kidding, right?   They're right beside the trustworthy politicians.
11. That's actually one of my favorite thins about Ruger rifles; the trademark buttplate.
12. Oh man! This Classic Cast press is nice! I didn't realize how cheap the aluminum press felt until I got this one. I can definitely recommend it to others.
13. It also depends on how high your sighs are above the axis of the bore. The simple thing to do is to shoot it and see for yourself; not guess.
14. Assuming it is a lark, it demonstrates two fellows who desperately need something productive to do. It also shows their underlying character in my opinion.
15. Why not touch up the affected areas with cold blue?
16. My new press is scheduled to be here tomorrow, so life can go back to normal. You go smiling Larry Potterfield! :D "That's the way it is."
17. I found 60 grain Sierra hollow points to be laserbeam accurate in a 1 in 9 twist barrel.
18. I have a 39-2. After I bought it, I had some problems with it, but replaced the extractor, and it's fine now. It shoots really well. My father has a 52 S&W, which looks like a 39, but has a steel frame, great trigger, and is chambered for 38 special wadcutters. It is truly a first rate target gun. I've never fired anything but fmj in mine. I don't know how it ewould feed hollow points.
19. A 39 Smith is C&R eligible??!!?? Damn I'm getting old! That looks like a nice one, and I would say you got a good deal on it if it was the one on GOC. The trigger is a bit different, but once you get used to it, they are good shooters.
20. I watch the Red Green show for all my plumbing and general home improvement tips.
21. They are sort of like Glocks; not only do the owners like them, they can't comprehend why everyone doesn't own them.
22. No. Cabelas easily surpasses Gander Mountain in every respect. So does Bass Pro.
23. I just shed a happy tear!    I did not know this.
24. I'm an ammo hoarder, and I ain't skeered of the darkest night out! :D
25. I'm still looking for a copy of "Safari". SO far I haven't ponied up the several hundred dollars people are asking for them, but I probably will sooner or later.
