  1. After the initial enthusiasm and then careful consideration, I'm out on this product. I hope those who buy it enjoy it, but $500 can buy a lot of ammo, and even more reloading supplies.
  2. Paying more and getting like new condition will pay dividends in the long run if you are collecting. If you are buying them to use, only you can decide how poor a condition you can live with.
  3. H 32 show a Ruger Standard Automatic.   Could it be a K32? That shows a Colt Diamondback. model  10 Smith and Wesson, H&R 922,925, and the like.
  4. I would expect it to look like every other Glock ever made.
  5. Why doesn't the state dept. employ Dennis Rodman as Ambassador to North Korea?
  6. Let us know how it turns out. A lot of threads on gun barrels you remove are in the white, and that tells me they are blued after the barrel is attached to the receiver. You'd be lucky to put them together again without scuffing something, and therefore ruining your new blueing job.
  7. I don't know who decided, or why, to put a safety on a lever action rifle. :shake:   I also don't know why James Franklin can't be happy in Nashville.
  8. Looks good, and may I commend you on your photography skills! Well done.
  9. Now ya tell me! :wall:   Welcome to the forum. :hat: It it doesn't work out with him, I might give you a holler.
  10. I think I have a size chart. What number is marked on the holster?
  11. Targetmaster?   If it's really nice, I don't believe I'd drill it. If it's a little rough, go for it. I'm sure Sam Hoster in Gallatin could do it. Heck, anybody with a drill press can.
  12. What would you have given for them 8-9 months ago?
  13. They were and are inexpensive guns. That being said, yours appears to be in very good condition, and should prove quite serviceable. Also, for $25, you got a very good bargain on a quality Brauer Brothers hunter holster, and a free revolver to boot. What's not to like?
  14. Thanks again for all the suggetions and education.   It appears her IT guy has found a real deal on one, and I figure he's going to be working on it if it isn't up to snuff, so I guess we'll go with him.
  15. Alas, he is gone. :sadwave: It was good while it lasted.
  16. Good suggestion, but I've never been able to itemize.
  17. I suggested a laptop, but she isn't interested. The company supplied the computer she has now, but no longer does that. It isn't a big deal, I was just looking for a bargain. I do appreciate everyone's suggestions. She does work on a "VPN". Also, her moniter is much newer than her computer.
  18. Her work in in the medical field. I don't know enough about it to accurately explain what she does. The programming she uses is also installed on our home computer, so she can use it in a pinch. I think she just needs a basic computer. The eleven year old one still does the job right now. I figure most anything newer would be as good if not better.   As far as price, I'm willing to spend whatever it takes. I just don't care to waste a bunch of unnecessary money.
  19. I believe the old one is about to go kaput. Anyway, it has Windows XP, and I'd really like to look around and find a replacement before I have to get one "RIGHT NOW!" We're not electronics people, and she doesn't want it jut to want something new. It will become a necessity soon. She doesn't really need more memory; just something that isn't worn out.
  20. Wow! You've certainly been living right! You are accumulating a very nice collection of classics. Congratulations.
  21. My wife is going to need a new work computer shortly. All she needs is the tower part. She prefers Windows 7 to Windows 8, as does her IT guy at work. What do you think about a refurbished unit? Wal Mart shows some at attractive prices. The one she is using now is an 8 year old Hewlett Packard, so she doesn't have to have cutting edge state of the art.   What other suggestions do you have? Got a line on a "real deal" somewhere?   Thanks in advance,
  22. Gotcha. A "match" trigger isn't what I'm looking for. I've never seen or touched a Geissele trigger, and simply picked the one that sounded best to me from the youtube description he gives. I hope it's worth the cash. At least I got it on sale!
  23. I've met you, and you look like a very tough individual. However, if you claim to have been outside most of the day today in only a t-shirt, I call B.S. :D
  24. Second?!!? :panic: Perhaps we should have had this discussion earlier.....What is your favorite?
