  1. or "Come get them you S.O.B.s!!!" It is a shame that when it is decided to enforce this law, the onus to enforce it will be on local officers, and not the a holes who passed the law.   I wonder if it won't be used as a political tool. They have a pretty fair record of who has them. Step out of line and they've got you. I say enforce it immediately or get rid of it altogether.
  2. Should be really good stuff.
  3. Then why pass the law?   It isn't an initiative, rally, or a gentle nudge, it is a law. Enforce it! Oh wait, you can't. :usa:
  4. Very nice!
  5. I commend everyone involved for such a speedy arrest.
  6. You stand just as good a chance of being right as I do. It could have also just been random. I'm not accusing your father of infidelity, but I doubt you can deny that it is quite common in that profession.
  7. Sure. I'd also be surprised if he didn't get a little stray along the way as well. It was just a guess. I don't know anything at all about the situation.
  8. Let us know how it works out for you. I imagine you could sell it pretty easily if you decide you don't care for it.
  9. They look pretty cool. On closer look, however, the wood to metal fitting appears to have been done by a third grader. Anyway, if you get one that's fairly well regulated, I'm guessing it would be a good deal.
  10. An awesome souvenir indeed. Thank you for your service to our country.
  11. If anyone ever earned a seat in prison, it would be this prick.
  12. I'm guessing a jealous husband.
  13. Nary a flake has fell here, although our schools closed at 11 am this morning, although it was partly cloudy and 45 degrees.
  14. You pay for a cheap rifle, you'll likely get a cheap rifle.
  15. $10 admission $5 parking All the ambiance of a cheap flea market.   If Sam is there selling reloading supplies, it'll still be worth your while to go. If not, make other plans.
  16. I have two sons who love to shoot as I do. I've bought a little here and there for years when I've found it at a good price. I've yet to see the price go anywhere but up up up. So far, I've yet to wish I would have bought less ammo. Also, I haven't had to spend the last year running form WalMart to WalMart scrambling for 22lr shells. We just kept on shooting.   It doesn't expire, it doesn't take up an inordinate amount of room, it isn't getting any cheaper, and if you decide not to shoot it, it makes real good trading fodder.   I didn't buy any of my guns with the intention of fighting a war. There are many other reasons to own guns. Without ammo, they aren't real useful for any of those reasons.   I still get the feeling the OP is here from a government agency or anti gun group on a fishing expedition.
  17. I see. I've always liked the Lee rings because you didn't need tools to adjust them. If you install and remove the die by turning the ring, and not just the die, they stay in adjustment for me. I'll have to take a closer look at the Hornady rings.     http://www.midwayusa.com/product/1165236200/hornady-sure-loc-die-locking-ring-7-8-14-thread Same principle as the Lyman or RCBS rings.
  18. Thanks for the tip. I've spent a fortune with them over the years; all without a discount code.
  19. So do the Lee lock rings, or any lock rings for that matter. Right?
  20. If you could qualify health wise, a cheaper option would be a TERM life insurance policy. I have a 30 year term policy for 250k, and it's twenty something bucks a month.
  21. Looks like some good prices here as well.
  22.                           http://www.bulkammo.com/rifle/bulk-.223-ammo#contest You can't win if you don't enter!
  23. Oops! I thought you had to have the sleeve on the die. I didn't think about leaving one in the press. If I did that, however, I wouldn't really have gained anything. Oh well. i'm accustomed to screwing dies in a press. It isn't a big deal. This one has an insert you can remove to use larger body dies, although I've never seen but one size die body.   I added up all the dies I have, and looked at the price for the quick lock sleeves, and decided not to go that route.   It will take a while to get my dies readjusted for the new press.
