  1. A K frame Smith is hard to beat; especially in magnum form.
  2. I thought someone might want some before the next crisis/shortage. That's about as cheap as I've seen it in a while.
  3. According to my kids, that's also the abbreviation for the Titans.   Looks like it's working so far.
  4. I was once in an accident where I would have most likely been gravely injured, if not killed had I been wearing a seatbelt. The ladie's bumper and my driver's side door was wrapped around my steering wheel. I wasn't injured.   The sign said it was 50/50. I guess you and I help confirm that?
  5.                            http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/federal-american-eagle-223-55gr-fmj-1000rd-bulk-pack.html   Seems like a fair price to me.
  6. That pesky second amendment is seriously cutting into his profits.   I'm guessing the Democrat party is trying to remove some of it's ugly warts before the 2016 election.
  7. I wonder how many accidents can be attributed to people reading the signs rather than paying attention to driving.
  8. My grandparents used to live on Charlotte Pike in West Nashville. At the time, it was a nice neighborhood.
  9. At a Nashville gun show once, I saw a guy sell a gentleman with a table a Colt Delta Elite for a very cheap price. Soon after, I saw a couple more guys walk up to the same table and ask if he had a Colt Delta Elite for sale. He told them no. They got quite unruly, and the other guy came back soon after. As far as I know, they finally left unhappy, and the guy with the table went home with a screaming deal on a 10mm. I expect that was an ATF setup. If not, I don't have any other explanation for the display I witnessed.
  10. Remington hasn't kept a very good reputation for quality for a few years now. I hope they will get it straightened out. I watched in horror, the same thing happen to Winchester. I hate to see a large corporation buy out and then bastardize an iconic American brand.
  11. Buy the gun, not the story. That is my motto.
  12. You might want to take a chill pill rather than threatening people here who disagree with you. You will find this forum to be much more enjoyable. That, and RichardR isn't the only one here who isn't agreeing with your posts in this thread.
  13. You are correct in that the water that flows through is deemed to be "waters of the state". That doesn't mean one has permission to walk the private property on which it flows.
  14. I believe that only applies to navigable waters and things such as Corps of Engineers property here in Tennessee.
  15.   I don't know what a "slop" is, but I believe the best way to have good neighbors is to make an effort to be one.
  16. That's the one. Is it still open? It doesn't appear to be.
  17. You guys are making me appreciate having good neighbors more and more.
  18. There's a dealer in Cookeville who posts ads on GOC. He seems to have attractive prices on reloading paraphernalia Also, you would get the benefit of hands on prior to purchasing, rather than ordering fbased on an internet photo..
  19. More than I care to count. I buy when I find a bargain, and stop buying when I run out of storage room.
  20. I can't fathom why the Hendersonville show didn't make money. Everyone I've been to was packed with both vendors and customers.
  21. I meant a legitimate use for me. I'm certain others have found many uses for them; several listed in this thread. I struggle to shoot a handgun well. If it doesn't carry easily on a belt, I would prefer to have a rifle.
  22. There is already an FFL/gunstore in the Castalian Springs/ Bethpage area. I've never been there and can't comment on it.   There was a gun store at the intersection of 231 and hwy 25. It doesn't appear to be open any longer. I did visit it once, and can say I'm not surprised to see it close.   Other than in Gallatin, I am not aware of any other outdoor public range in the area.
  23. I didn't intend to be derogatory, and you have no need to justify nor debate it with me. I will say that I'm glad I'm not in your position that makes you feel the need for all the stuff you posted. I hope your situation improves quickly.   I would be looking for a way out of whatever predicament you've found yourself in.
  24. Perhaps I worded it wrong. I'm more than happy with you guys  having them, or anything else gun related for that matter. I was simply wondering what I was missing by not having one or both.
