  1. I love those! So far, however, I can't get Mama interested in one.
  2. Why?
  3. It's a hundred bucks, but I love my Bunn!
  4. The AKM would be hard to beat in your price range. Although you see a lot of bad press about them, I am quite pleased with my WASR, and one would fit nicely into your budget.
  5. I like it. I would like to know how it works in low light conditions.
  6. You mentioned inexpensive. That is a relative term. What is your budget for this?
  7. It's usually a pretty good show, especially when judged by other middle Tennessee gun shows.
  8. It isn't on the lake by chance? :hat:
  9. What caused the primer to ignite if not the firing pin?
  10. Rightwinger is correct. 20 minutes tops. I live just west of Lafayette, and con be at Hoganaese in about 30 minutes. (I drive through Westmoreland to get to Gallatin.) Be careful there! There have been several incidents resulting in injuries or deaths recently at that plant.
  11. They make affordable yet quality shotgun shells. I didn't realize they were made in Tennessee until another fellow pointed it out to me. I thought they came from Spain.
  12. If WalMart has it in stock, the 130 grain Remington 38 special is an economical and accurate load to shoot. For 357 mag, I actually like the Magtech stuff if you have any local dealers who carry it.   Better yet, reload.
  13. I had that one coming!   Not sure about real estate prices there, but the Cottontown area would be a good place to look as well in my opinion.
  14. Sounds like a great choice for a first handgun. As others have said, 38 specials make for fun, inexpensive target plinking, while full power 357 rounds really feel powerful when you touch one off.
  15. Castallian Springs or Bethpage would be great. Sorry Rightwinger, but I'd rather be in hell with a broke back than Westmoreland or Portland. Hartsville will afford you with access tot he river, as well as a lot of home for the dollar, but man, it's a weird place.
  16. I've never done any long range shooting. About 400 yards is it for me. It looks like it would be interesting.
  17. http://www.laxammo.com/ You're welcome. :hat:
  18. Maybe I missed it, but what is he shooting at? For all I know, it could be a sheet of steel the size of a car hood. Once a fella got his wind drift and bullet drop situated, I don't see any reason why he couldn't hit a reasonably sized target at a long distance with a good rifle.
  19. Who says a 30-30 can't be an accurate rifle? I beg to differ.
  20.                        http://ads.midwayusa.com/product/175512/frankford-arsenal-ds-750-electronic-powder-scale-750-grain-capacity?cm_vc=ProductFinding I've had good service out of this little jewel. They often run it on sale for just under $20.
  21. My wife would probably like that. For my part, I'm more interested in the brass. Gold is too soft.
  22. Yeah, I've seen those. Pretty neat.   In my yard, however, it would be full of chert rocks and walnuts.
  23. I'd like one that'll work with brass.
  24. You sound like one of those Dave Ramsey "beans and rice" sort of folks.
  25. Babies have no respect! You spend that kind of dough for diapers, and they'll just poop and pee in them. :wall:
