1. All you're getting from me is an opinion, as I am NOT a gunfighter. I would say to practice instinctive shooting (point shooting; not aiming) at 5 and 7 yards, and aiming and firing at 15 yards.   Getting the gun out of your holster and into action quickly would be much more important to me than accuracy. Odds are that if you find yourself in a real world situation, it'll be stick it in his belly and fire.   Furthermore, I believe that we'd all do well to practice daily being aware of our surroundings. Most people are not. This will keep one out of a lot of bad situations with no gun required.
2. I'm worried about a distance of inches, or feet at most, when talking about conceal carry guns.   25 yard groups are for entertainment purposes only. I seriously doubt you'll even consider using sights were you to ever need your carry piece.
3. It says you're in Donelson. There's an Academy in Mt. Juliet. What do you consider far?
4. Again, in Tennessee, there will not be a gun "in your name". To answer your question directly, as long as the gun in question hasn't been reported stolen, nobody cares.
5. If they can't show where the item is, I just assume I do not want to do business with them.
6. AMEN!!!!!!!
7. 0-60 in 4 seconds? Top speed is 115mph? I'd say it's more dangerous on land than in the air......Where do I get one?
8. Leaving farm bureau was one of the best moves I ever made. I don't see how they are still in business.
9. That's what I did. I bought a Bushmaster Patrolman Quadrail Carbine. I got well aquainted with it, and found a few things I didn't care fo on it. This gave me ideas for exactly what I wanted to build. The result is a rifle I'm 100% happy with, and put together by me. Very good advice.
10.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SVT-40 SVT-40. The 38s had barrel bands and a two piece handguard.
11. I thought a smelter produced lead.
12. What problem was this supposed to be a solution for?
13. A buck a pop is cheap?? Glad I don't have one.
14. No. The average person is so self absorbed that they wouldn't notice if you were wearing a skirt.
15. Oh, I understand. I've learned that when I get all bent out of shape over something like that, it only hurts me. Your county court clerk doesn't give a rat's arse how mad you get. Just trying to help.
16. My mistake. I still believe it's past time for a Haslam version.
17. Yeah. The weatherman says we're screwed!
18.                     http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/?p=1 I may be wrong, but this sounds like a real deal to me.
19. It has been quite a while since new plates were issued. These are still from the Sundquist era if I'm not mistaken.
20. Then get a new one if it bugs you that much. I'd gladly pay $14 to get rid of the anguish this seems to be causing for you.   Forgive me if I seem insensitive, but it's a car tag. It isn't like your child was just diagnosed with cancer.
21. Buy a new one or don't worry about it.
22. Pay a visit to the Tandy store on Nolansville Rd. and get what you need to do it yourself.
23. Sounds like a good amount of work for someone here who may be in between jobs, or in need of some extra income.
24. Well, to tell the truth, I'm in the same boat. I just can't give up a pickup truck. I'd like her to change. I guess that isn't fair.   She likes to either have a Camry or Accord. I shouldn't complain though, because I never have to work on them.
25. 6.5x55 if you weren't sure of the chambering. It'll likely be more accurate than most peoples' shooting ability. It would cost several thousand dollars to produce a rifle that woud even come close to the quality of an old Carl Gustav.
