I would suggest a model 21 Winchester.

Trapping them is the only way I've been able to get rid of them. If you don't want to kill them, simply drive them several miles away and put them out. You could also give the coon to someone who is training a coondog.   I tie a honey bun to the back of the trap with wire for bait. They LOVE honey buns.

Coons are smart! Last night, he turned the trap on it's side, got the honey bun, and piled corn shucks and cobs around the trap like a big "screw you!" I've now tethered the trap to the ground so he can't turn it over and rebaited. I can't wait to see what mischief he pulls tonight. That's my last honey bun, and if I don't get him pretty quick, I'll be out of corn as well.

So far we have squash, peppers, cucumbers, potatoes and tomatoes. Corn is about to get ripe, and coons are beginning to raid it. I set a trap last night, and the little devil stole the honey bun from it, wrapper and all. I put another one in it, and wired it to the top of the trap. Maybe I'll get him tonight.     Today, we've made dill pickles and blackberry jelly.

Why can't you? They are held to the same academic standards as any other student.   Anyhow, they have a national championship trophy in baseball this year. Oh yeah, how did UT fair against them the last couple of football games? :stir: :D

Sure it does. The lower receiver should have little to do with accuracy on an AR. Technically, the trigger doesn't either, but it DOES make it much easier to get better accuracy from your rifle.   The barrel and ammunition is where the accuracy comes from, but a good trigger as well as good sighting equipment helps you to realize this accuracy.

I have an SSA-E trigger. It would be fine for deer hunting. Not too heavy; not too light. In my opinion, it is a good all around trigger.

The more our police force appears to become "militarized", the more they become ostracized from the general public. I don't see this ending well for anyone.

It definitely went through a barrel of the appropriate caliber.

Let me try it from another angle. My wife works for Vanderbilt, so you could say they pay my bills.   Also, I simply find the average UT fan to be obnoxious. I don't see that among Vanderbilt fans.   To be totally honest, I'm rooting for a particular little league all star team as well as Macon County High School. My family is represented on both teams. Short of that, I really don't care too much who wins or loses a game.

I'll take a stab at it. All you hear about around here is UT this and UT that. People name their children Peyton, drive orange cars, wear orange clothes, and even paint the front door of their houses orange. That's cool if you went there, but the Nashville area also has an SEC school. UT could win a football game against Joe's jiffy lube and college, and that is front page news in the Tennessean. Vandy could win a national championship, and it might get a mention in the 5th or 6th page of the sports section.   I understand the pride and support of UT in and around Knoxville, but Vanderbilt has always been the red headed stepchild in middle Tennessee.
